“It started out a little rough, but we ended up having a wonderful time. First, the address on the welcome email I was sent, was incorrect. So, we ended up going too far and having to go into 4WD to turn around on the hill/rocks. When we got to the correct place, the outside definitely did not have a great curb appeal. The walkways were untrimmed and the front area was very neglected. After having the wrong address, then pulling up to this, we got a very unsettling feeling about the cabin. Before my family got out of the vehicle, I went to checkout the inside. I was fully ready to turn around and find somewhere else to stay. I went inside, though, and the inside was WAY better. It was well cleaned, nicely decorated, and very welcoming. The bedrooms were nicely made, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the porch was nicely set up for relaxing with a view. Everything that was stated to be included was, plus more. The only other thing that tripped us up, was that the laundry services were in the basement with steep/narrow steps. If I would have known that, I wouldn’t have banked so much on using the washer and dryer. It ended up being fine after getting used to them, but I wouldn’t recommend using the basement if you have bad knees/back, as there isn’t a great place to hang onto and the steeps stairs are difficult. Overall, our stay was pretty great. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfortable resting spots, the fire pit, and the very comfortable beds. The only thing I would recommend, is to clean up the walkways , so you’re not walking through weeds to get to something. Otherwise, the walkway is a little pointless.”

“We have rented three places through them in the past 6 months. Angela is easy to work with and the places are Hawaiian charming. Kailua is a wonderful little town, easy to walk to beach and town from all their properties. The units are old and near the ocean which means something always breaks. No problem as they are very responsive, things are generally repaired within a day. We met folks who have been renting from them for 30 years. If you want the beach and a Hawaiian style house. You MUST rent through them”

“It was our first time there. It was a great ride. I just wish they would have told us how old our horses were and just a brief bio on them. The only part of the whole experience that could have been better was making sure my saddle was on fully and correctly almost half way through our ride my saddle started to slide off. I'm glad it happened to me vs the child I brought with. We enjoyed watching the sun go down as we were riding and seeing wild life in the woods.”
