“I have dogs / cats for the last 15 years. Through out all this time I have taken my dogs/cats to a lot of different places. I have never ever felt so comfortable been at a vet's office. The Vet, nurse and assistant were extremely knowledgeable and amazing with my dog they are very professional. They were able to help me understand the issue my dog had. they offered my dog a treat once they walked into the room then they took a picture of him for his chart after sometime the doctor came and she was extremely gentle but you can tell she was working extremely careful and focused on the aim target. The other vet I took my dog asked me to take him to another vet to have him checked which I did and boy I am glad I did! will bring my puppy here from now on.”

We usually go to LA where our vet is located however I recently found out about Victoria animal hospital which is great because it’s close to home and the people, prices and services are fantastic. My dog Lucky had an injury and VAH was able to see him that same day. The vet is very caring, thorough, professional, compassionate and understanding. “Last Sunday, the animal emergency location in Plymouth had a 5 hour wait time (WTH!). I luckily found this vet from a Google search. He was not only open on Sunday (which is rare for a vet), but was able to see my cat right away. The location in Plymouth charges $80 for a subcutaneous IV for dehydrated cats ((plus a $100 office visit fee), this location only charged me $55. I couldn't be happier and luckily, thanks to this vet, my dehydrated sick cat is now all better! The vet gave her the subcutaneous iv, and then I went home and gave the cat plain boiled chicken with rice which settled her tummy and resolved the diarrhea which was dehydrating her quickly. Thank God for this place!”

“I started bringing my 17-year-old chihuahua here a couple of months ago and it’s become her regular veterinary office. The doctors and staff are always very friendly and helpful. I take my little sister’s 10-years-old chihuahua to Banfield as her regular veterinary office but I can definitely tell the difference between the two offices and the way in which they care for their patients. Everyone at Via Verde cares for the patients as if they were their own pets. I can feel calm knowing that my chihuahua is being well taken care of at this office. The staff members are always willing to take the time to answer questions. And I like the fact that they allow walk-ins.”

“Dr Welsh and her staff are amazing. Dr Welsh is calm and factual. She is compassionate and non-judgmental and she listens. They follow up after serious issues, without fail. Her prices are exceedingly fair for the level of service provided. As far as taking the animals to the back, their equipment is in the back. I’m absolutely certain that if asked, a pet parent could accompany their animal to the back. As for people who say 1. “they lied and told me my pet would die”, Dr. W would not say ‘would’ - she’s not like that. She would say “maybe” or “might”. 2. “they wouldn’t get my animal in” or 3. “they referred us to Mansfield ER” (a GREAT PLACE), I have the following comments. 1. Sometimes we roll the dice in life. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Glad his dog didn’t die. That doesn’t make the Dr. bad or evil. She doesn’t prefer surgery. 2. Yes. Sometimes they can’t get our animals in. Grow up. Who raised these people? I suppose they’re the same ones who cut in line - anywhere. It’s not Multiplicity. Dr. Welsh can’t clone herself because your animal is sick. 3. Yes, they refer patients out when they are full. Don’t people’s parents teach them the world doesn’t revolve around them? I have the utmost respect for individuals who choose to pursue animal health, as people can be self absorbed, overly emotional, and spew out one star reviews with slight to no provocation. Dr. Welsh and her staff have cared for my animals for years. They have been full at times, referred me out at times, and given me options for my situation that I didn’t love sometimes. I’m not a vet. She is. Thank goodness we have people like Dr W who are willing to deal with our humanity to help our fur babies.”

“We noticed our 7 month old Puppy had a suspected ear infection, we took her to the New Albany Charlestown Road location and low and behold she did! Our sweet girl was very fearful and leery of the staff however Liv the manager was so very patient and kind to her that she was able to do everything on her own for her. She barked and made loud noises like she was going to be mean but she wasn’t. However the level of patience Liv had for our Nettie Boo was outstanding! “This is my cat Princess. She is very shy and always very afraid of the Vet. We saw Dr. Allerhand and boy was I impressed. She treated my baby like you would treat a human baby. She was soft voiced very gentle with how she handled her. I know from other vets we have seen the the vets and vet techs want to be the ones handling your pet but Companion is different. They want your animal to feel safe and secure and allow you to give them that feeling during their exam. Dr Allerhand is the most kind Veterinarian I’ve ever met. “I brought my cat in for what I had been told was a chronic upper respitory infection by another vet after recently losing another cat to pneumonia. I was quickly informed it has nothing to do with a respitory infection and everything to do with bad teeth and that infection reaching the sinus cavity. Surgery was quickly scheduled and they took care of my 15 year old pet who now seems years younger by improved health. It wasn't cheap but was worth it.”
