“I like the vets at this clinic and I like how convenient the location is. But I really struggle with the front desk staff. Here’s the thing: I’m not a perfect dog parent but I’m doing the best I can. My dogs have their required shots; they’re both neutered and we’ve been working with a trainer for the last few months because one of my dogs has a huge fear of men. My biggest issue is that sometimes I’m late on getting their shots or I have to reschedule. The reality is that both my dogs are healthy and happy and I try my best to do right by them. There is one front desk staff in particular, whose name I don’t know, who is very rude and condescending. She has scolded me for rescheduling appointments and her tone makes me feel like I’m a terrible person. It is anxiety-inducing to even call to make an appointment because if she answers the call, I cringe. I have gone other places to get their shots and get neutered because I can’t handle her attitude. I take my dogs here because I know the quality of care the vets provide but they either need to better train their front desk staff or find better staff. I shouldn’t be feeling like crying after I get off the phone with her.”

“They give small portions- a sweet potato order only brings out two slices. But it's all you can eat, so can't complain. The broths are good, but be aware that if you ask for a spicy hot and you're using individual portion hot pots, they will add enough oil for a full sized hot pot. So your food will be literally swimming in pure oil. My partner got sick off it, so just be aware. There's no problem with regular sharing hot pot or the non spicy ones. My favorite broth is the herbal one, can't go wrong with it. I wish they had a wider selection of vegetables, but their meat selection is great. The bathrooms are kept clean too. I prefer Urban Hot Pot to this joint, but this place is definitely closer and it still checks all the boxes that a hot pot place should. Especially good if you're a first time hot pot adventurer.”

“When I called, I was greeted with a cheerful voice and assured me they'd do their best to help with a stray I had taken in. I was able to get her in the very next day! They greeted my cat by name as well as myself. The vet was extremely gentle with her. They were able to confirm she had not been spayed by her previous owner and then offered to vaccinate my little cutie. I was able to schedule a spay only two days after initial appointment. Not only that, since drop off time is at 7 am (I start work at 6:30), they offered to have me drop her off the night before for no extra charge!!! I really love that they also hold her over night after the procedure to make sure her incision is kept clean. They even said if I would like they can text me updates during the procedure. So thankful of this clinic!!!!”

“My 7 year old Great Dane, Halo, has mobility challenges due to a chronic knee injury and to aging. A friend recommended Dr. McLeod, and I decided to give her a try. First of all, let me say how impressed I was by Dr. McLeod's pet-side manner. Halo loved her from the get-go! I could tell that Dr. McLeod has a genuine love for animals because she connected with Halo in a personal way. This is different from any vet professional I have ever taken my pets to. Other professionals are nice, of course. But they are basically all about administering treatment and moving on to the next patient. In contrast, Dr. McLeod and Halo are true friends. Halo could immediately sense her kindheartedness, and she looks forward to her visits with Dr. McLeod. After Halo's first visit, I received a detailed report outlining Halo's wellness status, the specific adjustments made, and her continued plan of care. Seriously, Dr. McLeod listened so attentively to the details I shared about Halo that I feel she knows more about her than the regular vet I have taken her to for years. Halo has continued her treatment with Dr. McLeod for many months and she feels better than ever! This means so much to me because it is very discouraging to see your beloved pet(s) start deteriorating and struggling as they age. But Halo's adjustments and treatment from Dr. McLeod have allowed the "puppy" to come out in her. I saw that Purrfurred Pets was not only close to my home but very well priced for the spay, shots, and visits in general. They call before the apt to make sure all communication is accurate and they have things prepared. They are always pleasant and very gentle with the animals. When my first cat was spayed they gave very clear information packet on how to care from home. They were also available if I had questions about the healing process.
