“When I find a small business, I really like it. I love to promote them. This time it's Barker Animal Hospital. I hated my dog's old vet, so anytime I had to take her, it was a chore. My mom recommended Barker because she's been taking her dogs there, and they have a Wellness Program where you pay monthly (billed monthly for 12 months) and get provided a bunch of services for your dog (unlimited exams, shots, teeth cleaning, nails, testing, etc., etc. - seriously it's a lot of good services). I was always resistant to taking my dog to the vet unless I really needed to because vet bills can become really expensive, even for a checkup. Many of Barker's services are proactive to keep your dog safe and healthy, and you can get unlimited visits if you need them. I wish I would have gone to them earlier so I could have prevented some teeth issues I'm having with my dog right now, but at least now I have a good vet that I can trust and love going to. Bottom line, if you're like me and hated taking your dog to the vet because it's can become really expensive, I really recommend signing up with their monthly service.”

Mao had been on the decline for a few months, but it finally came to a head a week ago when I realized he was having difficulty using his litter box. When I took him in, it took a while--but the wait was necessary considering the news. I took Mao home this past week, holding out hope. But at 17, sometimes that's just not to be. I brought him in today, and there wasn't a moment that went by that he wasn't cared for by myself or the staff. Thank you for letting me be there with him. And thank you kindly for your care. This is the first time I used this Veterinarian. I had to put my Morkie, Oliver down. He was 16 years old. From the top to the bottom, they are were compassionate and explained everything in detail. “We take our babies for their annual vaccs and general health visits. But get here early since there's usually long lines to see either the Vet or shots. Must ask which one is which. I made the mistake of going not asking and went in the wrong line. By the time I got to the front, it was too late to see the Vet. It gets full quick. Once your in, the Vet usually takes your pet during certain times and you get a number. After that, it's a waiting game. Unknown how many Vets they have but as long as you get a number, you're guaranteed a place. Their prices are less than what you expect from other places. Plus, they have a list of other locations with similar hours and long lines. Just call for further info.”

“Love this clinic. We found them when couldn't find an opening to bring a dog in. It was an emergency visit. Guys were amazing, I brought the dog in and left her there for less then 2 hours. Doctor Kuan is just amazing, he called, explained, gave medicine. Amanda was perfect also, she spent time with us giving recommendations for our kittens. And they told us to bring the dog for a check up after a week and then after 2 weeks. And they didn't take money for last 2 visits. We just paid for the medicine. For the first visit we paid more as it was an emergency but it's still less expensive than going to emergency hospital. Can also add that there are a lot of people bringing their pets in. Which just tells that those guys are really great.”
