“My pets are my treasure and Dr Rubin and his staff know it. They have cared for my cats and dogs since I moved into my house over 20 years ago. I never want to lose them. I didn't realise it when my dog Sam had lung cancer. Dr Rubin came, picked him up and took him back to their clinic, sedated him because his teeth needed cleaning then took X-rays because he knew something else was wrong. I lost Sam that night but God took him. When my Golden Retriever, E. Lee had to be put to sleep Dr Rubin sat on the back of his truck for three hours with me in the rain because I couldn't let go of the fact that E. Lee was gone to Heaven. He sedated him twice over I'm sure the norm but still, he loved E. Lee too. He told me of all the dogs I had my Goldie was his favourite. He's a busy man but takes the time with we people to explain what's going on. I'm phobic about my pets. His staff is great. Laura has been with him the longest. If you need a compassionate animal hospital then you can't find one any better than them. I drive them crazy sometimes. Thank God, they put up with me. When my cat, Sweet Pea had Feline Leukemia, Dr Rubin kept her alive more years past her nine lives with an FDA approved vaccine for cats who haven't been vaccinated for this. It's called LTCI. To date, he is one of the few vets who knows about it. I could brag about them for hours. They’re busy for a reason. They are kind people who love animals.”

“We lost our dog very suddenly last night. She was fine in the morning and by dinner she was acting very strange. We just knew something was very wrong and had to rush her late to the vet. My husband rushed her in and though she went very quickly the staff did everything they could to make it comfortable for her and us. They offered testing and to try to keep her alive but we knew she was already gone. They were very delicate with my husband and let him have a moment to cry and some of the staff even cried with him. They offered us several options and asked every step of the way what we wanted to do. At the end of the evening they gave my husband our sweet girl's paw print and some angel pins for our kids. This is not easy but the staff did a great job of making it easier. We are going to miss our girl so much.”

The office was clean, even my 4 year old said “wow it’s clean in here” the dentist was great, very personable, she spoke with me the entire time and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Both my kids got to “ring the bell” because they have no cavities, which they thought was so fun! I’m so happy we found young smiles!”

They are pretty expensive in price compared to the local shelters but worth it for their quality, cleanliness and love they show your fur baby! This is my furbaby's main vet for almost 4 years! “Dr. Hartland has been our vet for years and years now. She and her techs and her office staff have always been the best you could possibly wish for. Kind, professional, great customer service, personal touches. They just always go above and beyond. I really appreciate how Dr. Hartland has always been so kind and clear and sweet with us. We’ve had a three cats pass over the years and Dr. Hartland always sends a sympathy card and makes a donation in the cat’s names. Who does that any more? Above and beyond. Now with two new kitten rescues in the midst of the pandemic, I wanted to praise them again for the masks and the drop off and the social distancing. They are taking everyone’s health seriously and still remaining kind and professional. Highly, highly recommended for your cat’s health and for your own appreciation. Five stars all day long.”
