“I boarded my baby Molly here when I went on vacation. Molly is a handful. She is active 24/7 and sleeps maybe 30 minutes at a time. She is the happiest baby I have ever had and wants to love everyone. I called everyday to check on her and the staff was never upset that I called. The kennel techs laughed when I said she gives hugs because they had already found out. Some of the techs told me that I needed to get her a kiddie pool because they were playing with her outside in their kiddie pool and playing with her with the hose and Molly loves water. Molly had the best time ever there and I was so happy to know she was loved on, played with, and interacted with during her entire stay. I had boarded Molly elsewhere previously and did not have the same results. I live in Kenner and I will always drive across the Causeway to board Molly at Tchfuncte Animal Hospital because I know she was taken care of and spoiled just as if she was home. I cannot thank the doctors and team enough for their love of Molly and how amazing she was treated!!!”

“My dog Wally had degenerative myelopathy. It's an incurable disease it gradually causes the dog to lose control of his body. Shortly after his diagnosis, I started doing twice a week and then three times a week therapy sessions with Nancy of Paws PT. While the physical therapy could not stop the progression of the disease, it may have slowed it, and it certainly helped Wally maintain strength and agility in the parts of his body that he still controlled. When he was diagnosed, he was only given two or three months to live. However, we were able to extend that for 27 months, including daily walks around our neighborhood, eventually with the aid of a wheelchair that Nancy helped us procure. In the end, Wally succumbed to an unrelated ailment. Wally and his support dog Casey loved going for physical therapy to Nancy's, and always wanted to stay longer. It was also very helpful for me. Degenerative myelopathy is a hard disease for the owner, because it's not easy to see your best friend slowly but surely deteriorate. Nancy's cheerful personality and helpfulness enabled me to maintain the right attitude so I could support Wally in his time of need. I couldn't recommend her more.”

I first met Dr Vivrette when she was on the faculty of the NC Vet school, where she taught a workshop on equine dentistry and made it more interesting, relevant, and fun than I'd expected. With my own horses I went through five other equine vets, dissatisfied with one aspect or another of their practices over the years, until I learned that Dr Vivrette had a private practice. She is the BEST and she hires the best to help her. We've never looked elsewhere since. I wish she could take care of all my animals. Or my humans!”

“Was very unhappy with McCauley animal clinic after years and thousands of dollars for our 2 dogs. They couldn't bother with us when our old dog was dying. A friend recommended Harvester. Dr. Schwartz is a fantastic, wonderful, caring and thorough doctor and was very happy with care of our surviving lab mix. Our new rescue dog that just had 11 puppies came down with an ear infection. They answered their phone at 5:30 pm and squeezed us in the next day. The staff is all friendly and caring. Dr. Schwartz gave our new dog a thorough exam, didn't rush, took care of her ear, carefully explained to us possible cause and care plan for us. And, no gouging, very fair pricing. “I was referred to Hilltop Amimal Hospital by a personal friend who is in the medical supply side of animal medicine. This person has a Tri-state territory that he has serviced for the past 15 years. I took his credited advice and traveled 45 minutes to visit this vet practice. Just as I was told, I found staff and Doctors to be friendly, knowledgeable, easygoing and welcoming. Covid-19 protocol was being practiced. I was anxious about not being able to go in with my new pup. However, that faded fast as my dog was so excited to get out of the car and go with the kind and playful staff (pictured hyper pup at Hilltop). The Doctor was so friendly! She spoke with me honestly and cleared treatment options with me before treating. My Pup left Hilltop Animal Hospital happier and healthier! I am a big fan!!”
