“Debbie does a great job preparing all of the baked goods. This place is not open in the summer so be certain to check out or follow their Facebook page for updates for that day. As of Sept 2022 they are open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:30am until sold out or 2:30pm, whichever is first. Usually a great selection of various things but you have to be there early (like before 9) or they may be sold out of what you want so if you sleep in, you miss out. Been coming here since I was a kid and it's one of the few things left that I feel tastes the same now as it did when I was little. I recommend the maple walnut donuts, kiffles, maple rolls, rye bread and I just got a pie there and took it to a party and a lot of people said it was one of the best pies they've had in a long time. Pies are something special that are not always available. Sometimes she will make something special one day and not the next so sometimes things that you like are not always available but there are always plenty of yummy alternatives! Again, check their Facebook page for the specialty item. Most affordable bakery in town that I know of.”

“We went here for the first time today, and we were very pleased. The chicken wing soup was amazing. I will go back for that alone. But our subs were delicious and fresh and filling. Although a bit pricey, its well worth it. The staff is kind patient and helped with our questions. The place is clean and comfortable. There are tons of yummy baked goods ready to take home and devour. We will be back often....and you should try it. You won't be disappointed. Update!! Please don't go on website for menu prices! I had a bill shock when we picked up our order. Three subs and a package of cookies for 50.00!!!! The prices have gone up alot and my anticipated bill was so much less! But when you look on the website and press order by phone the prices are so much lower. Between 3-4$ more than the website! Beware! And there is an older woman that is very rude to customers! I read some other reviews and have talked about the rudeness. We won't return, what a change from my last review!”

“The cashier. He was really great. I forgot my phone which holds my Gelson's card. He quickly looked it up courteously. He was engaged and had a nice smile. He knew the customer behind me by name. Kudos! Also loved the gentleman who helped me at the deli counter. It was his first day behind the counter but he was all smiles and ready to help. He offered tastes of foods I was considering but never tried before. All in all a great experience except the rain. I was drenched but you were ready with the plastic umbrella holders, so good for me and everyone who followed me. I don't want to make anyone slip and fall--just as I don't want to fall. Good Idea!”

“Okay I probably should not be telling you this because y'all are going to go and buy them out and then I won't have any but they make the best biscuits and croissants and that bakery and sell them by the box oh my gosh. When you take one of the croissants and heat it up for 30 seconds and bite into it you don't even need to add butter because you can taste the butter in it. The biscuits are so out of this world that you don't even want to go to a fast food place anymore whoever is cooking in that bakery is worth a million bucks.”

“Love the new sushi bar. My fav is a spicy crunchy shrimp, last week my son came down from Duluth and they were so nice they made my fav--one for each of us. He said best ever. I've never eaten sushi before last month but after one sample I was hooked. The people in the store are so friendly & helpful especially Denise. Cathy, & DEB. And the bakery, produce & deli (LIZ)! Pharmacy fast. Effecient even tho horribly busy. Go the extra mile to get my refill even faxing and calling my MD to get refills so they're ready by time I finish shopping. “I ordered a layered carrot cake, because their carrot cake is the absolute best and I've been craving it for weeks, and this is what I got! I didn't specify any of the decorations since, as I mentioned earlier, I just wanted to eat it, and the decorator still went all out! I almost didn't want to cut it, the cake was so beautiful. “Always love coming to this Walmart. They have way more self-checkout stations than the one on Hamilton Church Rd. (Which is closer to me by the way!) The negatives are, they run outta stock a lot on certain things that take forever to be restocked. Other negatives are prices on items are often different when you get to the register. Then you'll have to go to Customer Service and wait in that long line to correct the issue. All and all, it's just a really nice, clean location.”
