“Stopped by while driving through; this is one of the best boba places I’ve been to, and that’s saying a lot. Very clean, unique styling, authentic atmosphere, good smoothies, all good stuff. The boba was a little smaller than I'm used to and that was nice also a very good texture. The smoothie texture itself was very frosty and smooth. Not a place to go if your looking for Thai Ice tea though, tastes a little chocolaty, tasty but not the right taste. We also got the Horchata and that was good. All in all great hangout I would highly recommend it!”

“JoAnns is the place to go for good food. I had a Mushroom Burger with fries. This small hole in the wall closes at 2pm. Then they reopen from 6pm-9pm with a Mexican menu. Parking is a little tough but be patient JoAnns will be worth it. There is inside or outside seating & wheelchair accessible. The service is good, food is excellent. “I found this gem while visiting the Stockyards. So glad I did! You can get a menu drink or custom which the hubs and I did. The iced Blueberry Cobbler and an iced honey, lavender latte was delish!! The prices were comparable to a regular coffee shop. Chay was the staff on duty and she was awesome!! Great customer service, friendly and helpful. “This Starbucks is the best we've been to. All the baristas are friendly and professional. Never once had my order made incorrectly. Anytime we are in the area and in the mood for Starbucks we go out of our way to go to this one even though it's in target. There is one barista in particular, I didn't get their name, who is such a sweetheart. They have adorable pink hair and their eyeliner makes me envious. They were very patient and kind when my shy daughter was ordering and took extra care to talk to her about her stuffy. That made Emma feel very special. So Emma wants you to know that the strawberry frap you made is the best one her and Gwen (the penguin) ever had.”

My partner and I go there every so often when we want Café style food because we know what we are getting with Carol's and thats a good meal and awesome service. I love their chicken fried steak and my partner loves their hamburger steak. My partner and I have been to many of steak houses where she's ordered her steaks medium rare and they all have come medium well, every time she orders her hamburger steak at Carol's it's come out medium rare every single time. I'm big on consistency and Carol's has hit that mark every time. I would suggest checking them out. And as always be kind to the staff at any restaurant you go to they're hard workers like you and me.”

I had Ms. Jackie, as my server she was an overbearing, yet she still was atentative. I happily say that I enjoyed my little bearings of what I actually came to accomplish. The parking is in the back to the side and in the front of the cafe. It is quite small, so just you know, bear in mind it's not going to be wide open space. The veggie omelet was perfect, and so were the pancakes. I have to say their banana pudding was a little different. It is homemade banana pudding.🍌 I kind of like my wafers cookies 🍘mushy.😋 Miss Jackie had also made a suggestion about some type of waffles which is not my favorite thing to eat for breakfast. And I believe something else was homemade too but I can't remember. But everyone should go and try it out! This has been open since I believe 1975, but unfortunately, Mr Pete is no longer around. But maybe the family steals owns it, not sure. But I'm so excited to see what Texas has with more cafes like this. These are my favorite things. The bigger ones are all right, but I like more intimate spaces.”

Green beans, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce! Plus a roll with butter and gravy! And for dessert there was a pumpkin pie dessert to die for! I am so pleased with this place and it was easy to get to; directions to the place is on the website. The cook/owner came to the car and personally greeted us (impressive) and they even had a bottle of wine for those who wanted some wine with dinner, for a little extra. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants a full course dinner and to treat themselves!!!! It’s the BEST!!!”

“So, Kimber's was a family style restaurant up until 2 years ago. They changed ownership and became a high end steakhouse. I have seen their billboard on I-40 and decided to stop Friday night. I was worried I would have to wait forever. That was not the case. The restaurant was clean and appealing. I decided to sit at the bar since I was alone. Emily was the bartender and was very attentive and told me all about the place. I ordered a nice glass of red wine and a 10oz filet and sides. One of which was a salad. I had seen one on their reviews. It was amazing! Emily advised em they cut their steaks in house. The filet was out of this world good. Better than any steakhouse in the area. Emily advised that during the summer it has been hard to keep the restaurant full. People go try this restaurant! It is pricy but it is worth every penny! As a foodie I love local restaurants that do specialty items. And Kimber's did not disappoint! Oh and try the homemade desserts. I had a key lime cheesecake that I could not stop eating!”
