“It's a pretty simple, straightforward Boy Scout camp. Not a lot of Frills, but there's not supposed to be.”

“This is an outstanding five star KOA! like most KOAs it is very clean the staff is nice but it is exceptionally clean and there are a lot of things for the family to do. They have miniature golf they have a blow up bouncy bed, a playground, and a little water mining table where you can have your kids pretend to be minors. There's also volleyball and basketball. They have restrooms and showers but they also have family restrooms and showers which was really accommodating to my parents that are 82 and 85 years old. We did not stay in one of the cabins but we got to look inside and they are very cozy and clean as well. Great staff and very accommodating. The young man who took us to our site came up and told us after we parked if there's anything we meet feel free to ask we're here for you. Very nice to see the younger generation being respectful and doing their job! The campsite is not far from I-70 but as you drive through the apartment developments to get to it don't be fooled the campsite is very nice very safe and secure! We saved this campground to our KOA camp app and we will definitely be here again!”

“Been here twice and loved it. There is a lot of things to do for the kids. The merit badge counselors are all nice. The sites are great. It is fun to hike around the camp to see all the different places. The food is really good. They have a good fruit bar for breakfast and a good salad bar for lunch and dinner. The trading post is small and it can get really crowded. Will be coming back with my troop.”

“Great place to get away from the daily grind. No cell service unless you have Verizon or AT&T. No internet either. Lots of stuff to do with the kids. They have areas that are very quiet and away from everyone or you can be areas that are humming., it's up to you.”

“We love scout camp. We stayed in September for family camp. There were so many activities for the scouts then. For Halloween they had a very creepy haunted woods set up. Today we had a great time outdoors in the snow for the arctic blast. I recommend any scouting families to support the camp and attend events going on at RSR. I have yet to be disappointed.”

“First time staying at a Disney Resort and I can't find any faults really. I am not a campsite sort of person, but here you get the full Davy Crockett vibe, with NO hardship. Bit of an information overload at check-in, but don't let that put you off. We are staying at the `Cabins at Fort Wilderness'. They are super cute, immaculately clean with nice touches of the "bigger brother' resort Wilderness Lodge. The internal transport is easy to use and regular for getting to the various amenities within the resort. Connecting to other services to the Parks is very efficient and simple to use. The boats to Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge and quick and regular. The atmosphere is very peaceful and family friendly. Other guests and cast members are so nice and helpful. It's very close to Magic Kingdom, but feels very calm to come back to after an exhausting Disney Day. Some guests might feel its a bit spread out and you do have to use the internal buses or carts to get about, but everything is still within 15 minutes walking distance and the woodland is beautiful and filled with wildlife. Can't recommend it highly enough.”

“Camped one weeknight and our first time there. It's not bad for weeknight; I don't know about weekend. Train came by once in a while, but stop after 1030 or 11PM, and started again at 555AM by my smartphone. Of course the noises from the freeway are constantly there and it's sounded like waterfall. Over all we still have good time there.”

“Parsons Landing is a crazy pretty place to camp. There's pretty much nothing here - just fox boxes, clean pit toilets and fire pits. You can pay to have water and firewood delivered to your site which you should do. Previous campers have made wind shelters out of rocks at every campsite for your fire or to pitch your tent behind. If there's an earthquake you're probably gonna suffer a brain injury but what can you do?”

“This is a really fun campground. The site are spread far enough out that there's at least a semblance of privacy, and several are along a slight ridge that gives them a great view of the neighboring hills. The restrooms and water facilities were also very well kept. A perfect spot for a quick one or two-night vacation.”

“A nice campground located in the mountains with a beautiful view of the park. Staff is friendly and the price was good. We spent only one night but I'd definitely come back. It has a lot of people who live there during the whole year, so it has a very friendly energy.”

“Great little camping area with beautiful grounds, semi secluded wooded sites, and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful upon checking in. The fill/dump station is conveniently located right to the left when you come in (no full hookups here). The bath house was clean and easily accessible as it is in the middle of the loop. There is a disc golf course, a picnic pavilion, two kids play areas (the picture below is the one at the lake), and great hiking trails. Some caveats: 1. Almost no cell service. This was a non factor for me, this is why I camp, to get away from those things. Something to consider if you work on the road or need to answer emails. 2. The bugs were in full force, please bring bug spray and light those citronella candles! I got bit on both feet pretty good, spending my next two days in severe itch mode! 3. If you have to travel for some items the Denton Walmart is about 15 minutes away. There is also a Dollar General in Ridgely. 4. Bring your bikes! Lots of space to ride around, especially for the kids.”

“This site is only accessible by canoes or kayaks. There is no public road access to the campsite. Secondly, the site is maintained by the NPS, (National Park Service) within the DWGNRA, (Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area). People found camping at this site that are not on a river trip or camped at the site for longer than one day can expect to receive hefty fines from the NPS. This site is a primitive campsite. There is a fire ring suitable for cooking on as well as allowing you a small fire. You will also have access to a privy style toilet a short distance in the woods behind your site. This site is a riverside site that will hold 2-3 smaller tents. It is well maintained by the NPS and had no litter or garbage on site. It is very secluded and tucked into the forest between the Delaware River and the McDade Trail. To reach this site you can put boats in the water at two locations, Dingman's Ferry and Eshback Access. If you start at Dingman's Ferry, you really should go for a hike first. If you hike about 30 minutes each way you will be able to see two very impressive waterfalls. Silverthread Falls and Dingman's Falls are right up the road from the river access point and well worth the walk. There are also tons of hiking trails a matter of minutes from your camp leading to minor waterfalls, overlooks and historic cemeteries. The trails are all well marked and easy hiking. No traffic noise, usually there are no other campers close by, which allows you to just sit and enjoy the sounds of the river and the wildlife around you.”
