“The photo is site #27 and it's very close to the water. Many other sites have better shade but a longer walk to the water. I like this campground for several reasons. Close to highway 80 but no road noise at all. It's not too hot in the summer and the lake is a great temperature for swimming. You can ride a dirtbike from camp to the nearby ohv trail system. Lastly, it's just remote enough that you can probably get a site here for an impromptu trip.”

“What a great place! The staff and members were super friendly. Grounds were well maintained and the rules were all enforced properly. The restrooms in our side of the park were INCREDIBLE. They let us drive the close section and pick our spot which is such great service. The pool was perfect and we even did some good fishing. We will certainly be back. Only small negative was the allergy issues. The blowing "cottonwood" seeds were everywhere, our son has tree and other allergies and we had him highly medicated all week.”

“Schnepf Farms offers three venues all in which are individually unique, my fiancé and I chose The Farmhouse as its cozy backyard provides a picture perfect venue. Bri & the rest of the Schnepf team were absolutely amazing. I truly was able to have the wedding of my dreams all thanks to them! We chose a Saturday evening ceremony but wanted something a little different for our reception and decided on Breakfast for Dinner and they were able to exceed the expectations of that idea. The food was delicious, our guest enjoyed an omelet bar, pancakes and other breakfast staples. The venue package they provide is such a great value. I have received countless compliments on what a lovely venue it is. I highly recommend this venue to any couple considering it!!”

“This was the best place! My children had the best time ever. We go there every year now, and the new staff is incredibly nice. The lake could use a little work but over all this is an awesome place. That bounce pillow was one of the best things there, and the nature trails are great to. And I love the fact this place is animal friendly, so feel free to take your pet. “One of several campgrounds in Casper Wilderness Park, Ortega Flats is the closest one to the highway, and accordingly you’ll hear a decent amount of road noise here. Sites have electricity and water hookups, and restrooms are of the porta-potty variety. Not a perfect campground, but with only about a dozen sites, you won’t feel too crammed in.”

“Just spent two weeks here in site #48. Great view of the lake from my site, which had nice shade. I have stayed here before in some of the more crowded areas, but this loop was the best. The sites are not close together and it was even quiet on the weekends. Had 3 5G bars most of the time. Park is beautifully maintained. Tip: dump station near entrance is on a slant, so go to the one on the far side of the campground. It’s level and a breeze to use.”

“They just reopened for day camp. My girls both loved all of the activities and had a great time. The pool is closed this summer, they are hoping to have it open next summer. We brought cooling towels and water bottles with misters and they were ok. The counselors have ice water to refill for them. Drop off and pick up was very easy, no lines.”

“Thank you for making my teen son's first camping trip (that he can recall) so good!. We had private beach access by renting a lake front site and it was clean and quiet. I was able to use a charcoal hibachi on private beach for lunch everyday which kids loved! Also leave all our floats, paddleboards, cooler, chairs etc. set up all week on our beach spot vs. hauling back and forth. The sites are distanced just enough to still feel private. You can bring your dogs and tie out to the provided metal poles with hooks for hanging trash, lanterns or mess kits. Every site is shaded which was nice. The picnic tables can be moved to make your camp set up convenient. Also, pets aren't allowed on the camp beach but welcomed on the private beach areas connected to the sites. Lastly, the bathrooms - we we're in loop A and our camp host whom I met was very nice & social. She kept loop A bathrooms clean, mold free, well stocked with toilet paper and even the showers felt clean and safe. We really appreciated the dedication she put in by cleaning bathrooms multiple times during the day.”

“In 35 years of marriage and thousands of miles of travel, my wife and I don’t remember a more relaxing month than the one we experienced at Buttonwood. Edie, the property manager, was beyond helpful and friendly. The facilities were well kept and extremely clean. My wife and I agreed that the bathhouse was always spotless...and that says a lot. We both love to fish, so the fish cleaning station was an added bonus! We were actually saddened to leave, and wanted everyone to know how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon! “Just an amazing place. There are so many trails! We camp with two kids and can easily use the Bath houses, fish, canoe in the reservoir, and walk/bike/scooter the camping area. We’ve always found the clientele respectful and quiet and the hosts we’ve had have kept the loops so clean and organized. The pools are so much fun (when they’re open) and perfect for small kids and adults.”
