“This is my go-to hype store in Windsor for sneakers. Without a doubt. I've bought, sold, and traded many pairs with the guys working here and had a lot of opportunities to talk with the owner. They are pretty chill and overall genuine sneaker enthusiasts. I've worked with and seen many other stores operate pushing high profit margains and horrible lowball offers to sellers. Compared to many other stores, I feel like NOBU really got some decent prices especially with their older pairs. The only thing I feel that I could say negatively about their business is the lack of an online shop and presense, they pretty much operate strictly on Instagram stories and DMs. I haven't had much luck with their phone lines nor their website now that it is down. But for the selection and the OK price they've got their sneakers at? As a local, I can't complain. If you're a sneakerhead, check them out!”

“This particular location is pretty awesome. Everybody is super friendly there and they actually remember everybody’s names which is really crazy. LOL! They also are very good at de-escalating customers who get angry. I’ve seen a few homeless patients and they were some kind of issue, and they were able to talk them down, and finally leave with a smile instead of being angry and leaving angry. Anna is amazing. She helps keep all your meds in check. She’s the main pharmacist and make sure for people like me that certain generics are given. I have a very sensitive system and I take more than 20 medication’s. They have a list of the ones I can and cannot take as far as generic drug goes there on top of it. The only thing with them I’ve experienced that’s negative and it’s happened a few times where I went to pick up medication and they forgot to give me one of them so I would have to go back the next day. But other than that these are great people.”

Rather than constantly pushing a sale, LoveBug seems committed to finding a solution, whether using their products or not. Last week I was looking for a solution of a ultra light weight rear facing car seat for a friend and was ready to spend money on a new solution. After talking with Crystal, rather than her just selling me something, she asked what was already being used and told me how to use that instead. Perhaps this is normal. But the staff is generally nice, but the one thing I do notice is for there to be a tendency for staff members to be reticent and a little bit shy in regard to offering help or helping people. This could be just because of the neighborhood being somewhat of a rough neighborhood and this part of Minneapolis and people just aren't open to lending a hand to someone they don't know quite so quickly. Being a disabled individual, this does come across as something to be aware of. However on the positive side, being disabled individual, I have noticed that there are almost always more than enough electric carts available.”
