Every person we encountered was friendly, professional and helpful every step of the way. There were several things that set them apart from other folks we talked to. First, their proactive communication was fantastic. The afternoon before each day of work Alfredo or Joseph would text me to let me know exactly what I could expect the next day - who was arriving, when, and what work would be accomplished. Second, they were so helpful and offered great recommendations as we were trying to finalize our choices for the kitchen. Third, there was one small thing I wasn't sure I was going to be happy with during the install and Alfredo handled it with such professionalism and care. In the end, the small issue wasn't an issue at all. Fourth, after all of the work was finished up they sent Elizabeth to clean the first floor of our home. It was as if no work had even taken place. (thank you, Elizabeth!). When it was all said and done Alfredo said, "Thank you for trusting us with your kitchen." Our goal was to preserve our existing maple cabinets and add a big kitchen island, stone, and cabinets that will go with our existing cabinet. We knew what we wanted but we have no idea how to do this. Claude suggested a contemporary line of the cabinet that compliments with our existing cabinets. She also designed a bar table to go with a new kitchen island. The cabinet went perfectly with the old cabinets and we got a coffee bar too. Claude created a design and vision that totally matched our taste and kitchen functionality. She paid attention to details and followed through the project every step of the way from start to finish. “Paul just reupholstered a chair for me. I cannot believe how amazing it looks. It is a wingchair from the 1920s or 30s I think. It needed to be completely rebuilt from the frame on out, maybe it wasn't really worth it but it was my great-grandfather's chair and it has this lovely wood detail, so I just went with it. I picked a more complicated fabric with a pattern AND a stripe to it, and the chair just looks amazing. The workmanship is apparent and the pattern is matched up perfectly all over the chair, the stripe syncing up impeccably from the back to the cushion to the bottom, the arms being a mirror image of each other. I'm beyond impressed. Now... Paul doesn't work fast. But you can choose -- do you want it done fast, or do you want it done right? And it wasn't cheap, but honestly, with all the work that had to be done I would have been hard-pressed to find someone to do it more inexpensively, and then I doubt I would have gotten the level of craftsmanship I did. I simply could not be more happy with how it turned out, and I'm so glad I have a chair I can pass down to my own kids and grandkids.”
