I was always one to shy away from group workouts because I never felt like I was in good enough shape to keep up. It was intimidating, especially when you’re overweight and out of shape. The minute I walked up to my very first workout I was greeted by name by one of the coaches and several other members that I didn’t know did the same. It was a huge relief. I won’t lie, my first workout was tough, and I pushed myself hard, but it was so rewarding. I woke up the next day and wanted to go back. I have been both an in person and virtual member for two years now. I have seen my body and my fitness capabilities change in ways I couldn’t imagine. I feel a true sense of community and support from other members and especially the coaches. I've taken decades of fitness classes, but I could tell immediately that Kacey is one of the most talented, dedicated, and inspiring instructors out there. Her classes are insanely challenging and--simultaneously--a complete joy! HiPower lagree is the best 50 minute workout there is, plain and simple. And what an adorable studio with an incredible sense of community (and quality instructors across the board!). Since starting a few months ago, I try not to let a week go by without at least one Kacey class and one Debbie class (Debbie is also BEYOND phenomenal!). “One of the most experienced yoga teachers I have met. She is a direct student of Yogi Amrit Desai, a pioneer and profound master of yoga. She knows the postures and their significance very well and trains other yoga teachers. She also teaches regular students. Her sessions always start with a relaxing and enlightening discussion, followed by yoga. She pays individual attention to the students and asks if anyone prefers postures to focus on a particular region of their body (shoulders, back, etc...). I always leave the sessions lighter and peaceful.”
