Yes, the wrong size was ordered and it was not realized by his family member until it was partially or completely on. Interesting, since he was installing it himself. He was offered a full refund by returning the siding. He refused to removed the siding, but instead insisted on a full refund. He was offered a 5% refund on his siding order of 600$, but refused that as well. The owner of the store even went to his house to see. He continues to state there was no compensation or acknowledgement of responsibility for a wrong order, which is incorrect. He continued to return demanding a full refund and it was repeatedly stated he could have one, if he returned the siding. He had purchased other items at the store as well.”

I have been shopping at this particular Home Depot for nearly 15 years. I have to say they do a nice job at keeping prices competitive. The only thing I have to complain about, their wood. Some times their wood is a little on the flaccid side. Like, when I hold wood I expect there to be a nice firm feel that demonstrates what I would expect; robust elongation that can be matched bar none. I have held lots of wood in my life and Home Depot's wood falls short. I ordered lots of 2x4s and only a handful of them were straight. That being said, I would recommend spending some time sifting through all the wood they have to really find that nice straight, firm, hard wood you like. Keep up the great work Shakopee Home Depot.”

“I was in need of a dryer for several months, but was waiting for the right deal, and going to the laundromat in the meantime, when I finally saw a dryer online that seemed perfect at the Sears Hometown Store in Waterloo. I went there in person the next day and they had it in stock, and as luck would have it - I was told that the delivery guys were due back in the store shortly after I paid for the purchase, and the salesperson said he would ask them if they would deliver and set up mine the same day when they got back to the shop. I wouldn't expect that to happen - and fully expected to have to wait awhile for the delivery. But lo and behold, I had barely made it back home (about an hour later) when here came a Sears truck with two awesome delivery and set up guys - Rick and Jake - with my new dryer! They were both so pleasant, upbeat and helpful - and in no time had my new dryer installed, and even switched the door to where it opened to the opposite side that I preferred. I am over the moon with the service I received and my new dryer - highly recommend this store!”
