“So I live in Van Alstyne, and our local DG has seemed to go kinda upside down since management changed. In turn we have shopped the Howe location primarily. (Other than the dead cricket smell) lol all of the employees are pretty great! Since inflation $ has been pretty tight so I went in with a few $1 bills and a ton of change. Kasey (not sure if he's management or what) said well change spends just the same as bills girl don't feel bad about it. 🤣 I even ended up being a bit short this time and he covered it. “Our 2-ton heat pump was acting up and Eanes H&A gave us a price of $6,000 to repair (with no guarantee this would fix the problem..their words). And then their price "up to $20,000" to replace the entire unit and air handler. Well I thought this was very excessive for a 2 ton heat pump and there was no way two senior citizens could afford a bill/payments on that. So we contacted Cheryl from A-Z Appliances. From DAY ONE, she made it her mission to find the heat pump equipment that would work for our small house. Working along with Comfort Tech H&A from Thomasville to assess exactly what we needed....A-Z supplying the equipment and Comfort Tech installing the new equipment and hauling away the old. If I could give both a 10 star rating, I sure would. Under $6,000 for the entire package and installation. Folks, don't walk, run to visit them if you have needs like we had. They are actually in business to HELP their customers. Other big companies could learn a lot from A-Z Appliances and Comfort Tech. Kiddos to Cheryl for going way above her job duties to help us out! And also Wayne at Comfort Tech.”

“Honestly the best place I have recorded ever. Been my studio for about 5 years and Brian and Felix treat your songs and mixes personally. They want you to achieve the best sound possible. They are always on top of the latest mixing techniques and forever learning and honing their craft. Honest and dedicated with no nonsense. I refer all my music artist friends to them and I am not surprised to see them make their way to HKS. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend them is so I can hog all the recording time. Seriously though I am so thankful they produced 42 songs so far for me and I am amazed at the sound. If you’re not in AZ, but need mixing work they also transformed some of my lesser mixes recorded off site and brought them to life. “This was overall a good Walmart. Most items were in stock and staff was polite. The produce left a little to be desired. There were a lot of different vegetables that all that was in stock was rotten and not edible, and a lot that was not stocked at all. When checking out I had an issue at the self checkout where the camera was acting funky and froze the machine to wait for a cashier, but the cashier was nowhere in sight. I had to wait 15 minutes just standing there until the cashier finally came out of the restroom and resolved the issue. TL;DR; Mostly good except rotten/empty bins in produce.”

Some prices were lowish, but they were pushy and lacked knowledge of Bowie houses and specifics of what flooring was best on a concrete slab, etc. Carousel was not pushy, answered every question, knew exactly what we needed to know and even accommodated our schedule. They gave us all the heads up information we needed. The installation of a whole level of flooring was done very professionally in a day and a half. It looks like this is the way it always should have been.”
