“I contacted this company to rent bouncy houses for my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday party and was very pleased with the service. I initially put in my order online and was contacted by a representative the next business day. I had selected one of the obstacle course inflatables and they wanted to make sure that we had the power available for all of the blowers necessary. Instead of allowing me to rent something that would make them more money, they explained the that with the power available, we would only be able to blow up one of the three sections of the obstacle course. They worked with me to modify my order to something that would work better for us and save me a little bit of money. Drop off and pick up of the inflatables was made much easier because of the excellent service that Shon provided. The party was at my parents’ house and he did a wonderful job of explaining everything to my mom and was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely rent with this company again.”

“We had ~1,600 sq.ft. of carpet installed in our newly-purchased home prior to moving in. We ultimately decided to go with Hopkins Carpet One, a more local company, rather than a big box store like Home Depot. The entire experience was disappointing. The preliminary sales process went fine, but when it came to scheduling/installation there was serious disorganization and confusion about timelines, which was surprising since we'd scheduled installation months in advance and were extremely forthright about our needs (our home was being painted, so we needed to accommodate painters prior to installing new carpet). This was frustrating, but we eventually got everything worked out without too much of a headache. After two months (installation July 2022), we're happy overall with the low-pile carpet we selected. However, the quality of the installation is really, really disappointing in places. An entire staircase was skipped during the installation and necessitated a separate crew coming out a week later to finish the job. Tack-strips/adhesive is already failing around a couple floor HVAC registers and there was a closet entryway where tack-strip was flat-out missing (which the second crew was thankfully able to correct). A couple hatchet-job cuts along baseboard with almost laughable attempt to correct the mistakes. There are sections of bedroom where the carpet is nearly 1/4" short of meeting the baseboard. Cuts along stair tread/skirt boards are inconsistent; some are great, others…pretty average. Understand low-pile carpet is less forgiving, but we did expect more. This wasn't exactly cheap. I've attached a couple pictures for reference. UPDATE: the company’s quality control person did contact us promptly after leaving this review. They stopped by our home to inspect the installation and agreed there were deficiencies (in addition to ones not highlighted within the pictures) and were very apologetic about the quality. A new install crew came by a couple weeks later and fixed several areas. The result is much better. Review increased from 2 stars to 4 stars accordingly. My only gripe is that no one bothered to tell us when the crew was coming to make the fixes. They just showed up at our door one morning. Thankfully we were home.”

“Good first experience with these guys. They installed a backsplash in our kitchen. Mike came by and gave me a quote less than 24 hours after I called to schedule. Super cool dude. I already knew what tile I wanted, but Mike told me exactly how much to order and sent me links to the other small items (grout, trim for the edge). You buy the supplies and they just charge you for the labor. They also picked up the tile from the warehouse so I didn't have to pay shipping. Wasn't the cheapest quote I had gotten, but I chose them because I liked Mike's professionalism (You get what you pay for). Glad I did too. They worked with my schedule and worked the weekend. Got it done 2 days. After the crew left, Mike called me to make sure I was happy. There were a couple of minor blemishes in some of the grout and I was amazed how quick Mike talked to his guys. He assured me he was not charging me for the second half of payment until it was perfect. Sure enough, he sent one of detail guys the next day and made it flawless. I will be using these guys again. “I was in a jam today because I was expecting a microphone stand with the boom extension and wouldn't you know; it wasn't going arrive on time. So, I searched Facebook, the local stores and nothing. So, I decided to call the nearest pawn shops. Amazingly, I found one that had the microphone stand with a boom. That one was Centerville Gold and Pawn located off Centerville road in Manassas. I had called earlier and spoke Deni Martinez, partner and owner of Centerville Gold and Pawn - he said he had what I was looking for and at a fair price. Honestly, I was skeptical, but I took the trip to Manassas and I'm glad I did. Not only was Deni right, but it was exactly start I needed. Deni was so friendly and welcoming, I didn't want to leave the shop. Deni was so helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed I knew right then and there is be back. Now, the store is not your typical big sized pawnshop; however, they carry a large assortment of production equipment that is professional grade. I was very impressed that his clientele brought their equipment here. In addition, the items are reasonably priced and in most cases, like-new condition. I rarely give 5-star ratings so easily, but Deni Martinez exemplifies good customer service and genuine customer retention skills. Meaning, I'll be back. My most recent online search for a specific sliding closet door wheel replacement showed one item that matched what I needed. Photos show the old unit with cracked wheel. Luckily this location had 9 units in stock so I noted the Aisle and Bay numbers for easy in store shopping. They were in the correct spot and I had no problems at the quick self checkout. Not confident at first about the quality of the plastic wheel replacement based on the negative reviews, I was relieved and very happy that my new replacements are quiet and roll very smoothly. The plastic wheels may not last forever but they should be good for awhile.”
