“Atlanticare Hammonton Health Park This is a wonderful, spanking new center for emergency care 24 hours a day. While not a hospital it certainly is an urgent care facility that is top notch. A friend of mine was waiting for a long period of time in the emergency room at Pomona Hospital and just gave up and left and went to this Care Center at 129 North White Horse Pike in Hammonton, NJ. I have been there myself and have my own favorable impression as well. There we got attention almost immediately and there always seems to be a bed available for your Urgent Care / emergency examination. Why waste time at a Hospital unless you are sure that you will need to be admitted? This location provides excellent care in a very speedy manner and the whole thing is brand new almost and pretty much unknown to the general public judging from the small number of people arriving.”

“I was admitted to this department for a spinal epidural and MUA. Everyone from reception to the theatre and the ward were cheerful and reassuring, putting me at ease and keeping my daughter and myself informed or the procedure. Even when I had to stay overnight, because I was still unable to use my legs, due to being numb from the hips down . In particular the staff in the recovery ward were amazing. Making sure I was comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble .Even offering us hot drinks and sandwiches. Incredibly, Christopher McLean, my surgeon, had been knocked off his bike on his way to work! Thankfully he was not badly hurt. But after getting cleaned up, he came into the hospital to perform surgery, which he could have understandly cancelled. Such dedication! NHS at it's best. Thank you all. You are wonderful.”

“After spending 4 nights in SSU where the nurses did their best against poor processes and understaffing I moved to the Wells Suite which is a private ward in the Pembury NHS hospital. What a difference. It was comfortable, the food was excellent, the staff were great. Within 1/2 a day I started to feel so much better in myself. Could anything be improved? Well yes: 1. T V stuck on BBC1 - hardly the most important thing in the world 2. Took 7 hours to discharge me. Mainly because the drugs had to come from the pharmacy which is where we re-enter the world of the NHS so I would put a private pharmacy on the ward or a dedicated person in the pharmacy and this is fixed! Neither of these improvements detracted from the excellent care provided and, whilst I would avoid the NHS side of the hospital, would highly recommed The Wells Suite.”

“Was visiting parents from out of town and developed an allergic conjunctivitis. They got me in really fast and diagnosed my condition just as fast. They were able to send my prescription to the Walgreen's down the street, it was all taken care of in as little as an hour and a half on a Sunday afternoon. Much better than going to an emergency room.”

“My Son in law had a stroke at the age of 47 in Feb 2013' after a long stay at the Lister hospital he was transfered to Danesbury in welwyn. He was greeted by very friendly staff who supported him in his confusion in the early days of where he was now. They also supported us as a family all through his stay' and worked very hard with my son in law to help him achieve the best recovery he could have. Every time we visited without exception we were greeted with such kindness and understanding. The staff there are a brilliant team of hard working people who cared for my son in law with great dignity and respect My lovely daughter and son in law continue to be supported now he has returned home. All through this very difficult and confusing time in their lives where their whole world has been turned upside down I feel I cannot praise Danesbury enough for their Kindness support and help with this extremly difficult time in all our familys lives. “I went through the ER for the first time and only waited 30 min. I was wheeled in and evaluated. Then was taken back into an ER room and began some testing. Nurses and ER doctor consulted with me and in 4 hours I was admitted to the hospital. Transfer from ER to upstairs was smooth and flawless. Thank you for making my first trip to the ER painless and not scary.”
