“A good library with a good Dvd and Boom selection. Many computers and nice chairs and areas to sit. Its pretty clean and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve been here many times to check out comics, manga and some dvds. Very nice and they are pretty helpful. I always liked the soft couch cubes. They have many different little programs that I never go to because I’m busy and I don’t live in the area. However there are quite a few I would go to like the gardening one they had once.”

“This is probably my favorite library in San Antonio. It is a very modern building. It is very clean, and the staff has kept up with it very well. The selection of books is pretty good, better than most of the other branches. The online ordering for books is very fast and convenient. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a rather large kids’ section as well. I will more than likely continue to frequent this location.”

This is a small library with easy access for handicap. Bring ID with home address if you don't have a library card. Large quiet study areas are available. Have a great reading experience.”

“My son and I love the library! Everyone is always friendly and very welcoming. I requested more books for my child and in our next visit they had them. I also got his passport application done here. The staff truly goes above and beyond. Side note, to the people who are complaining, I highly suggest you sit at a village meeting and express your concerns there. I can assure you that the village officials aren’t reading the reviews and will most likely not address your concerns. Use your time efficiently, writing reviews online isn’t helping. Anyway, I love the Maywood Public Library!”

If you need a library and your in the area this is probably your best bet. They have a very good magazine selection, they also have DVD movies you can check out. And you can sit down and read a book as well.”

The library has a very relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful building and also seems to have a lot of cool and creative events going on which are posted throughout the library. I find it calming and relaxing to sit in a comfortable chair there with a book of fiction or poetry and zone out. Can’t wait to take my son to check out the kids section.”
