“I just recently lodged here while on a work trip. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay at this place. The rooms are a nice size, and cleaned very well each day. There is a chair outside of each room so you can sit and enjoy the sunset and evening breeze. The staff are very kind and accommodating, and very attentive. They really went above and beyond for us. The motel is in a great location just down the road from a boat launch, and a nice Mexican restaurant is within walking distance just across the street. The parking lot is also a nice size with plenty of room to maueuver larger vehicles - which is a huge bonus for anyone towing a boat, trailer, or RV. Definitely give this place a try!”

“Nice camp ground and location between Ohiopyle and confluence, nice beach area and an area to put in your boat if you have omen. Showers have hot water! Just a little too hot sometimes.”

“This was a great spot for a weekend getaway. In November, it was very quiet - we did not see anyone else here at all. Very convenient to Phoenicia for all your dining/provisions, and only 20 minutes away from Slide, Wittenberg, Cornell, and Giant Ledge/Panther Mountain. The cabin had a lot more kitchen equipment than I expected, so you could easily cook real meals if you wanted. Check in/out was easy and convenient (a checkbook is helpful!) I'd definitely come back to Simpler Times if I am in the Catskills again, and I'd certainly recommend to anyone else who's planning to visit!”

“I have loved here for 8 months and I love this park, I don't know how anyone could give this place a bad review. The neighbors are awesome and the park management is great. I just closed on my new home up north and I'm really going to miss this place. This is the best neighborhood I have lived in!”

“The campground was very clean and the grounds keeper and store clerk was awesome. This was our first time out in our new to us RV to try things out. Charlie was so full of knowledge and very helpful. If I only 1 issue it was the campers across the way playing music way to loud, but remember I was young once too. Still should have been more respectful to others”

“This place was great! My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding in August. Our bedroom had a huge comfy king-sized bed, a nice TV with surround sound, and central air that made that hot/humid Kentucky night feel like we were in Alaska. The bathroom was huge as well with an amazing multi-head shower and a two person tub surrounded by candles. The breakfast menu had a good selection of classics. I had the waffles with blueberry compote and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had. You get to pick the main food and each order comes with fruit or yogurt and a few choices of sides. We had so much food between the 2 of us it could’ve fed a family of 5. Our host was the best part. He joined us for breakfast. He told us some history about the area and some very interesting stories of his past and past guests. We had a great night sleep and an amazing breakfast. Could not have asked for a better night.”

“The one thing I've learned here as in many of these trailer parks the lot rent goes up every year. Consider this when buying into one of these properties. This can be very hard on a person who has a fixed income”

“Count your blessings, if you are fortunate enough to live/stay here. Very well kept grounds, bathroom and laundry facilities. Super nice managers and residents. We lived here for almost a year. Felt very safe and welcomed. Very quiet park.”

“Been twice and had soo much fun!!! The atmosphere was fun, the scenery was beautiful, the owner was really nice, personable and helpful. Our family had a blast each time. There's plenty of amenities that are covered while camping which is helpful. People need to remember you are there to CAMP, not stay at a luxurious hotel. We will DEFINITELY be coming back as long as this place is here!”

“We stayed at the 100 campground in the middle of the week early May. Good news first- very large campsites with plenty of trees and shrubs for added privacy. I’m sure when all the leaves are in you won’t see your neighbors. The walking paths a wide and mostly shaded with beautiful scenery. I highly recommend the blue trail from the 300 campground to the falls. The falls are much more impressive than I anticipated and worth the walk. The park is pet friendly, and our dogs enjoyed the ~1.5 mi walk to the falls too! The Facts- It’s a little pricey to camp, your required to have a WI state park sticker ($38) plus camping fee of $33 a night for just electricity (20/30/50 amps)! If you want to just visit the park for the day it’s $10 in state, and $13 for out of state. Summary- We enjoyed our stay, but the price seems a bit high which is why only 4 stars. I recommend staying, just know what it will cost.”

“What a great room! We enjoyed a large room with two beds, a nice table to do my writing, plenty of space for suitcases and clothes and a spacious bathroom. I wasn't banging into shower walls and squeezing between the door and toilet. We often spend overnights in rooms in this price range and this was the best. Clean, quiet, plenty of sparkling towels, tissues... not a problem for us but Note, no hairdryer. And puppy friendly! Thank you! We'll stop again.”
