“Beautiful location great green space and grilling area when you drive up the stairwell gives you the vibe that this is not going to be great, but the rooms are decent, you’re going to the beach and you’re going to stay in that area you’re not gonna be in the room long it is way better than a motel six. I would recommend them changing out the fridge if it looks rusty on the outside, but was clean on the inside, extremely clean. And the AC could be a little cooler but again will stay there again just because it is perfect as far as the swimming pool and the beach side highly recommend it.”

“Such a welcoming B & B. Diane was a wonderful proprietor, the accomodations were very comfortable. Everywhere you looked there was an interesting piece of furniture (bookcase made from a wooden ladder) or decoration (a shelf border of old hats). The grounds go on for acres with mowed trails through the wild flowers and prairie grass with strategically placed benches and yard art, horse shoe pit and library, all for your wandering please. The cherry on top is that it's dog friendly.”

The TV was a flat screen appropriate size and had full Spectrum cable service. Very comfortable bed. If you want a fancy four or five-star hotel you will be disappointed. If you would like a comfortable room with a small complete kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven and a good value it is a great choice. I would go back.”

“Rick has always been amazing. From getting me quarters for on site laundry, propane during the horrible freeze last December, or just a wave as he drives by on the golf cart - Rick is a friendly and professional host. Our space was more than adequate for our 40 ft 5th wheel and vehicle. I never felt cramped or like the neighbors were too close. The lake has so much to offer -swimming, fishing (our granddaughter loved to fish), diving, jet-pack (seriously - you can fly over the lake!). I would definitely recommend Lakeview RV for a weekend, or a longer stay.”

“If you ride a motorcycle, this place is an absolute must visit. I’d rather stay here than the Four Seasons. They have literally thought of EVERYTHING that you would need if you are in the area and need a place to stay for the night or three. There is a grill and fire pit for your use. They do not charge for coffee, snacks, microwave meals, toiletries. The entire cabin is motorcycle themed. Everything is extremely clean as well. If you’re planning a trip to the Southern Va, WVA, Tennessee, North Carolina mountains, staying here for at least a night is a must. Did I mention parking pads for your motorcycles? Oh, and it’s motorcycles only!!! The service has been amazing as well. They will go out of their way to make sure your stay is top notch! Thank you Anne!!!”

“I think this is the smallest naturist resort I’ve been to. Very pretty, basically in the middle of a forest. Fantastic salt water pool, cabanas pool side to get out of the sun if you’ve had enough. Games like corn hole poolside. Places to grill out. The lake looks awesome but I couldn’t bring myself to skinny dip in 77 degree water when the pool is 88 degrees. There’s a wood fired sauna down by the beach that I’m told anyone is welcome to fire up and use. I am staying in one of the rental cottages - the “Doll House”. I have no idea how it got that name because there is nothing “doll house” about it. This one has a “half bath”. It has a refrigerator freezer-bigger than those small ones you see in hotels but not full sized either. It has a very new looking stove and a microwave. Fully equipped kitchen. Small table with two chairs. My cabin has an attached patio with another small table and two chairs. I’m a couple hundred feet away from the pool and showers. The bed is not very comfortable. Bedding is NOT provided and if I was told this when I made my reservation two months ago, I forgot it. I had to run in to Falmouth to pick up a sleeping bag and pillow, but I needed a few other things for my three night stay anyway so no big deal. The residents here are very friendly. If you are looking for a place to explore the nudist lifestyle this would be a perfect place to come try it. They offer day passes. If I lived in the area I would absolutely become a member. I’d even consider becoming a resident. Check this place out!”

“We had our wedding here in August. Rented out the main house and chalet for 3 days and it was an absolutely magical experience. It was the best day of our lives and this retreat along with the staff were integral to making that so. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality and service. They were very accommodating without being intrusive. The lodging was extraordinarily clean and organized. Our reception went pretty late into the night and they didn't mind the noise at all. It is located right next to a train that will come through periodically throughout the day and night and is very loud. We were lucky enough to get through our ceremony without it passing through but for anyone considering this as an event location, keep that in mind. To us, it was part of the experience and charm of the place. All of our friends and family really enjoyed it. We all loved it so much, we're already talking about coming back.”

“Very beautiful and cozy, be sure to keep in mind it's 10km or 5 miles per hour, do not speed. Saying hello and being friendly, is how everyone is. Walking around is beautiful! Good food at the restaurant, and reasonable prices. Every beach location is on a cliff overlooking the ocean, beach access is possible. We come every year, sometime up to 3 times.”

“Super cute, cozy remodeled cottage! VERY clean! It is an easy walk to the town and all the fun weekend activities. Robin is a wonderful hostess and responds quickly to questions. She has provided games, books, TV, internet, waters, a tea and coffee bar, a full kitchen with a regular size refrigerator, some cooking basics such as spices, AND a heated toilet seat! I have stayed twice and enjoy the comfy double bed, plush towels, and coffee on the deck under the tall pine trees. There are patio type hanging lights illuminating the whole outside at night making it easy to find in the dark. The door keypad provides a smooth check in and check out. I will definitely stay here again! You are in for a treat at the Wrighwood Hideaway.”
