“The park is beautiful, the fishing is decent and depending on who you bring with you the company is excellent! Bathrooms are kept in excellent condition. Be careful of walking around in the brush as there are stickers everywhere. Dogs are allowed in the camps so long as you keep them leashed.”

“Yes our manager is pretty strict but it's all for our good. The park is very safe. If residents themselves don't follow the rules by keeping their house tidy and kept up, and adults and kids respectful of others they will definitely get a warning or worse. Thats why the park is a place if rest and you feel safe taking a walk in the afternoon or morning. If issues arise the manager is very willing to work with you. She and her supervisor helped with directing me to the right resources I needed to get some things straightened out for my home. I am forever grateful for them. Overall if your willing to respect the rules you can live a very peaceful life here. Love my park.”

“We had such an awesome experience and stay here! I truly had no complaints. Pool was great and felt like we had the place to ourselves. So close to the beach & other hot spots. Our room, bathroom and kitchen were clean and very accommodating. The owner was a super nice guy and let us check in a few hours early. We will stay here again in the future! 🌴 Thank you!”

“Word to the wise. If it’s windy, don’t stay on the fifth floor - lots of banging. If it’s snowy, don’t stay on the street side - lots of snow plow grinding. Other than that, the location is excellent and the views can be nice.”

“Deadly spiders in the rooms and other tiny bugs in room .they need pest control to spray in the rooms and outside the rooms.but the owners are great people.”

“2022 is our second year to rent a slip for our boat in this marina. My family loves the new staff at the restaurant! The food is good quality and delicious. The prices are not cheap but the food is worth it! Sure, you can find better food for the price in a big city but considering that the location is 7000+ feet in elevation, the food is wonderful. The staff is so friendly! Frank and his rescue dog Buddy(terrier and corgi mix) work for the marina and they are amazing, very helpful and friendly. We just love seeing Buddy working to help Frank get the boats ready for rental. On Saturday, you will hear live music while enjoying cocktails, food, and beautiful scenery!”

“The people were nice. They are remodeling and everything is looking new and fresh. There was new carpeting in our room but did NOT have an issue with any strong smells. Everything seamed clean and was comfortable. The hot breakfast was made to order. For the price we paid it was wonderful!”

“It was clean, quiet and in a decent location but the prices refle Ted they knew they were the only place to stay in that town. That room should have cost and would have cost with any competition at most $70 a night. There it was $95 a night”

“New manager is doing a great job so far. Returns emails promptly. Car wash is back up and running; no longer a storage area for the maintenance crew. Pools are open and the gym. Gym was updated during covid closure. Hoping they will redo the clubhouse/office area... very, very outdated. Doesn't match the beauty of the outside of the building and units.”

“What a great place to stay in New Smyrna Beach! We had the Namaste Here side of the property and could not have been happier. Bill was super easy to work with and flexible with our travel plans. The property was well equipped and it was easy to find everything (even the hidden drawers in the kitchen for those of you who read through the property binder). We were fortunate to take in a lot of Beach walks since the beach is a very short and easy walk from the property. The highlight had to be the Falcon Heavy launch -- super cool!!”

“Every day i drive by the como motel thinking man, i need to find a reason to stay there. Papadequx and papasitos (however its spelled) is right next door. Im thinking this could be a cheap baby making spot. So i set the mood in room 121 for my lady. Jk no sec was had, but she was in love with the 70's authentic. Every room is secluded by a layer of brick and mortar. The 70s style sign greets you as you pull in. Cash only, both IDs scanned, it felt illegal to stay here. But the stay was beyond imagination. There's an abandoned pool in the middle witch makes you think of a forgotten time of play and wondor. When you walk in the room everything is neat and straight, they even give you 2 cups wrapped in plastic to drink out of. I was lucky enough to get a room with a refrigerator to keep our date night food cold but i warned my lady, we cant heat this up since there is no microwave so you have to eat this cold. Little fuss was recieved. The shower has hot hot water so enter at your own risk. You can adjust is but my wife likes it hot. The tv has a couple good channels! The bed is basically just a mattress topper on a box frame but it wasnt terrible. The remote for the tv is on a chained cord to the wall so only i had control of the tv. Just be sure to claim the left side of the bed. I work in pest control so ive seen the worst. This room had absolutely no signs of any bugs. Im glad to have made my girls perfect night come true by staying here. There is always a room available for you to wow your lady. As long as your lady loves 70s authentic and investigative murder stuff. Thank you for the stay como motel ”

“On our way to the hotel and when we arrived had us wondering just what we had gotten ourselves into, but when we actually settled in and relaxed we started to see the charm of the place. The hotel seems very dated and gives "The Shinning" vibes, but I don't count that as a negative, it can be refreshing in the sea of retro modern hotel designs. The parking lot is large and spacious as well as well lit. The staff was very friendly and helpful and put in the effort to at least try to fulfill all requests. The walls and doors seem kind of thin, the lights buzz, and the the room didn't have enough towels. But, the bed, sheets, and room were clean (the carpet is very old) and the shower has glorious water pressure. The breakfast is pretty mediocre only other apples and bananas and some processed cereal containers, muffins, bagels, yogurt, coffee, tea, and other common quick breakfast items. No fresh hot foods. In conclusion, the hotel is off the interstate yet somewhat secluded, it's a dated building that is still charming, and it is an affordable option that we would probably visit again.”
