“I moved here about 5 months ago and I like it so far. Yes my car did get broken into once, but i left it unlocked and it seems to be a thing happening all around Bear area, not just this park. I find it quiet and most of the people friendly and no issues at all with management ( but not sure if newer then previous reviews) Another review also claims there are no rules, but when I applied to live here there were several that were made clear and I understood, and I was told about the previous state of the people living here and now vacated. The only issue I have is with SOME of the kids, they do not seem very friendly and seem to have a click happening which makes it tough for mine to make new friends. There are parts of the park that could use some work, you can tell who has owner pride and who doesn't easily, Maybe a park cooperative would be a good idea, but I'm new and I can't possibly be the only one to think of this.”

“This is my 3rd year. Absolutely incredible crew and incredible service. Highly recommend. I hunt all around the country and this is by far americas premier lesser and duck hunting lodge. Food is first class. Chef Bert is amazing. Beth and bob keep the lodge extremely clean. All of the guides are friendly. Repeat customer for life! As a business owner myself, I bring clients and employees to the lodge every year. I highly recommend Sandhill Flyway for corporate hunts and large groups.”

“We really love this little campground along Hwy 21 above Idaho City. Mores Creek runs alongside the campground and has pools you can sit in to cool down on a hot summer day. Plenty of shade at most sites and brush/trees between sites allows a lot of privacy. Reservations are easy online.”

“I was actually pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel wasn't half as bad as what you would think by just looking at the outside. Clean! The room was actually CLEAN! This is such a huge thing for me. The bathroom was actually clean, the linens were clean, no smudges or dirty marks on the walls. I could go on. Compared to other rooms we have stayed in recently, the room was damn near spotless which I really appreciate. Service was great, the workers at the front desk (day AND night shift) were polite, helpful, and prompt. Please keep it up and continue to keep it clean! We'll definitely visit again in the future!”

“I loved this place! Pat was a wonderful hostess! My party only stayed one night - we were passing through for the Longest Yard Sale. It is a working ranch and there are a bunch of sheep - I don't know if we were allowed to pet them or not (we didn't ask or try). There were two outdoor Great Pyrenees mixes to protect these sheep. The pictures on the website really does represent the rooms well, except the master suite is even more stunning in-person. One thing about the prices listed on the website - the two regular bedrooms are actually $85 each, as of Aug 2018. To get to the place, we had to drive through a bunch of weaving roads, which makes it optimal if you want to get away. There is no Wi-Fi or internet (we did get phone reception, so I was still able to check FB) but I believe Pat had mentioned that there is regular TV channels - she doesn't watch much TV, and we didn't need it as we were conversing. She did have a firepit in the backyard but there was an underground hive, while we were there, so we stayed inside. You do have to call Pat at Ragtime to check her availability - she told us that she won't take any guests when her ewes are lambing (I hope I got all the terminology correct - hehe). And you most likely have to leave a message - she works on her ranch on horseback during the day but she does return calls quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend this place!!!”

“The Hacienda is a terrific place to stay while climbing in Hueco Tanks. I was impressed and look forward to staying there again on my next visit. The Hacienda is incredibly close to the Park— I opened the curtains in my room each morning to see where we would be climbing. The accommodations are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, and I loved all of the recovery tools in the great room. Kyung is a thoughtful and gracious host, and his sourdough bread was a real treat. Mike is an excellent guide with plenty of helpful insight. Arranging tours with him through the Hacienda is super convenient. Their rentable crash pads sure came in handy.”

“Clean, comfortable, quiet. Room had a very comfortable king size bed, a couch, a good TV, a fridge, microwave, blow dryer, & an ironing board. Room on the small side but neatly laid out. In bath had a tub & shower & plenty of hot water. Would have given it 5 stars but air conditioning didn't want to work in unit 104. Would definately stay here again in another room. Heat was great. Cost was under $100 a night. Just off interstate 65 at highway 25 exit. About 2 blks off interstate.”

“Timber lane is absolutely perfectly wonderful. It's Beautiful here tucked back in nature. Wonderful heated! pool area. Having a clean laundry room right off the pool is excellent! you can swim while you do laundry. Lisa (owner) and her parents Steve & Deb went above and beyond my expectations. They knew I was a RV newbie and they helped set me up too perfection! made sure I had what I needed and was set up properly. They gave me excellence advice and tips. Lisa has a whole list of local restaurants, retail shops etc. Could recommend good Rv technicians even local dentists. I asked about a chiropractor, she had one. I feel very safe here and It already feels like home. Oh and I can't forget about my Awesome neighbors. Love and Gratitude”

“My fiance and I have never ever taken a vacation just us. It has always been family vacations that were always so hectic with 10+ people. When we started planning this vacation, we looked at a lot of different options, called around, weren't having any luck. Then, Corner Star popped up. I contacted Christine and she was so informative and helpful. She gave us multiple recommendations for dining, bars, tubing, parks, and so much more. She was patient when I asked a bunch of questions and showed us the utmost kindness. The RV slot we got was shaded, which was awesome since we have a bulldog who gets super hot quickly. The whole park was clean, upkeep was great, and everything was in working order. The spot was easy to get into as well. Everything is close to this spot, the scenery is beautiful, and it was so peaceful our whole trip. It rained and never got muddy or gave us a hard time. Needless to say, we will definitely be staying here again and have recommended this place to any family who may want to take a trip to New Braunfels/Canyon Lake. Christine, you are awesome! Thank you so much for having us. For whoever is reading this, definitely look to Corner Star Cabin and RV Park! I could not recommend this place more.”

“Room not very clean. Headboard had something sticky splattered on it. Light between beds had no switch to turn of and on. No pillow cases but housekeeper was very nice to get them. She brought a towel to the room but was so stain it should've been used as a cleaning rag and only one washcloth and hand towel for 2 people. The whole building had a nasty smell. Will not stay there ever again.”
