“First, let me say that this place has obviously seen a lot of traffic and the usual abuse from travelers, but it is equally obvious that the owners have taken great pains to keep it up in good condition. The appointments were up to date and modern. The rooms were tidy and clean. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The pool is really nice and accessible to the handicapped. Pool towels and toys can be borrowed at the office. There are ice, drink vending machines and laundry facilities available and there's coffee at the office 24/7. The location is excellent - easy to find, lots of restaurants nearby and Siesta Key Beach is just minutes away. I have only two suggestions for management (not serious enough to consider strikes against the establishment). (1) Water could have been a little hotter IMHO. (2) Since glassware is prohibited at the pool, it would be nice if there were some plastic glasses in the rooms. We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed our brief stay.”

“Absolutely adore the Turkey Hill Inn! And the style was exactly what we were going for. It was so charming, so beautiful, and we just felt comfortable the whole time we were there, Everything including the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Maria did an excellent job cleaning the room. The person we spoke to on the phone when we booked the room was so nice, so professional and so very very accommodating. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere and this place in general. Everything in the town center is a 3 to 4 minute walk or less so many restaurants so much to do. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I look forward to trying out all of the different rooms one by one 😊 thank you so much for everything.”

“Nice campground. It has 3 separate pools. It has a gulf course, library, activities and corn hole, and a playground and fishing areas. Has a lot of stuff you can do. People are friendly and helpful. And they have cabins and house rentals available.”

“A good portion of this hike had very significant elevation gain making it moderate to strenuous. Those same areas can be tough on your knees, coming back down. Otherwise, a short hike and a great view from a very neat restored lookout!”

“Hands down the best RV park I’ve ever been too, I’ve been to a few dozen all around the country. Owners are super cool and work hard for that park! The Place was always clean and maintained every day! They are always adding new features to their park and everyone there seemed to be respectful and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning in the spring to visit again! I’ll definitely miss Pecan Hollow and the management! I definitely recommend!”

“We ate their famous brunch at the restaurant and all I can say is it was awesome! We had the best waitress who was so sweet. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were innovative and fun, and the scenery was so picturesque! We got the Eggs Benedict and Blue corn pancakes which I would definitely recommend either depending on if you'd like savory or sweet for breakfast. You also have to try their Lavender Earl Grey Tea which was delicious with their local honey. This is a great place to spend a few hours relaxing over brunch or for a stay at their Inn which was very nice and cozy looking! I would highly recommend you stopping in here! And definitely stop in the store to pick up some local goods!”

“We opted to stay at this charming inn vs a hotel/B&B in downtown Williamsburg because of the location! The setting couldn't be more serene. The home was built in the 1600's and the decor throughout the home really makes you feel like you have stepped back into time. Jennifer did a spectacular job with all the details in the home. Luxury and classy touches. The wine and cheese upon our arrival as well as the breakfast was top notch!!!”

“If you want peace and quiet, this is your place. Nothing is better than staying on a working farm in the country. The air is fresh and the view is spectacular especially in the fall when the leaves are changing. Very comfortable room with everything you need and the family that owns and runs it are the sweetest people you will ever meet. I enjoyed just talking with them as much as the sites we went to see. The breakfast was out of this world! Never could eat it all even though I tried my best. You will not go wrong if you stay here.”

“Great little cabin getaway with easy access to town.”

“This hotel has so much potential but the little details hold it back. Beer bottles and broken asphalt in the unkept grass is disappointing. Whoever did the concrete work out front did a terrible job as the wet concrete is all over the front brick under the guest room windows. Cigarette buts and general dirt under the front awning can easily be picked up. Other exterior cosmetic detailed cleanup could turn this into a showstopper. The rooms are a good price and are lovely and have every detail we needed. The young lady at checkin was very pleasant and kind.”

“Beautiful, historic B&B on a peaceful setting. Our room was comfortable (the bed was nothing short of luxurious) and breakfast was good. If you're coming to the area for a wine tour, I highly recommend this place.”

“We stayed one evening due to having a morning college visit the next day. It is located very close to campus which was convenient. Everything with the room was great! This hotel is just as their site describes, it is an older structure but with newly remodeled rooms. We have stayed in lots of inns/hotels and this was by far one of the cleanest we have been in! Will definitely be back if we have a need to be in the area again!”

“September 2023 - I had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel and would recommend it for anyone! The food and wine are great, the rooms are comfortable, and the owners and staff are incredibly kind. Each room is it's own bungalow, which is nice to have your own four walls. All have A/C, Wifi, extra blankets, large bathrooms, robes, and front porch seating with a small fire pit to keep you warm while you sit outside at night. It is truly a beautiful place and a short drive from other restaurants and wineries. The owners were so nice and even drove me down the road to the wedding I was attending. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay one to remember. I highly recommend you stay at Tres Vides if you go to Valle de Guadalupe!”

“AAAA+ 5+ stars for sure. Great cozy campground. Our neighbors were quiet and followed the rules. Great view and trails nearby. Clean bathroom and hot shower available. Bring cash for a token for the shower. Dog friendly and mosquito nets or repellent are must-haves.”

“New management has made this mobile home park amazing. Management is understanding, kind, compassionate, and overall amazing. Secure, gated, cameras, onsite management, neighborhood watch. Nicely kept homes, yards, clubhouse, pool, and park. This is an all ages park that once you come into the gates feels as though it is it's own tight knit town. Everyone looks out for each other and is always willing to throw a helping hand when needed.”

“I'm a couple months late in posting, but 1840 Tucker House was a wonderful experience. My wife and I stayed for two nights and spent most of our time exploring Louisville and the surrounding area, but Tucker House was probably the highlight of our trip. The house itself is full of historic charm while still having all the modern comforts. Breakfast was wonderful and Steve and Devona were amazing hosts.”

“My fiance and I booked a private charter for a weekend. The guys at Morning Star gave us a Catalina 22’ (vessel name Key Largo Cottage). We had the pleasure of witnessing manatees swim beside our sailboat rental. It was truly a joy to sail it over the course of 2 days. With our ASA certifications, the bay was a delight to navigate. Many sailboats are anchored, and the waters were filled with people who love the ocean. The team gave us all the equipment and info we needed. Waking up each morning and seeing it docked at our property pier helped make our wedding weekend a dream come blue. Next time we’re in the Florida Keys, we will most certainly support Morning Star again.”

“This was a VERY last minute plan so I was surprised to find a campsite with such a convenient location! There's a dollar general and a crosbys right there around the corner! My friends and I rented a cabin fir a weekend trip, and the location was beautiful, of course the cabin was smaller, but you are there to camp, not sit in a cabin, it was such a cute shack! Make sure you do bring sheets! We painted rocks, forgot them, near an open fire we started with our complimentary bag of fire starters! There is a pool and this week there will be a water heater! This community is very lively and children safe, with weekly activities to keep you stimulated and connected! We got an opportunity to play bingo in the most unique way possible, but you'll have to experience that yourself because I'm not going to tell you how. With that said, do visit!”
