“Ed the local small business owner is what we need more people to be like. I met him today while working "South of Chicago" Pizza. They have always made one of the best deep dish pizzas around. I love knowing that I am spending my money at a place locally owned. On top of that, some of the best overall top quality pizzas, breadsticks and so many other items are served up here. As a small business owner myself, I understand how hard it is to pay rent, taxes, maintenance and then operating costs. Trust me; it's hard and even though there is a misconception that you are rich--your not. I am very appreciative when I see owners working in there own establishments and showing customer appreciation. We know it's the customer that helps us get better. I assure you that if Ed was aware that something wasn't right and you were unhappy, he would do whatever possible to make it right. Some just will never provide the chance before they slam a business with a bad review. “This is my favorite Subway. On March 22, Taylor made an awesome veggie sub for me. The restaurant was clean, veggies were fresh and service was very good. Today, April 28, Bettany made our subs and they were on par with last months visit. Today, May 19, Shannon made the last two and what can I say - they were delicious. Today, June 8, Austin made our sandwiches and they were super!! These folks are master sandwich artists😀Thanks!”

They do not tell you this up front when ordering on the app. Door dash delivered food cold and took almost an hour after leaving the store to bring our food. That being said, when I called the store the manager worked with me very professionally and refunded the order. Hate Doordash but this Pizza Huts management makes up for it.”

“My brother who had bad multiple fractures on left leg and was admitted in this facility for rehab therapy for about 11 days. I was with him to facilitate his stay during this difficult time. The resident staff at the facility, nurses, therapists and other daily services folks were exceptionally helpful and professional. The facility is newly built and very well equipped. I would highly recommend it for whoever needs to use it in the future.”

This location gets SUPER busy during lunchtime (options in teeny tiny Waterloo are lacking), but as long as you come before 11:30 or after 12:30, your wait should be minimal. The ingredients in my sandwiches have always been fresh, and the employees are attentive and friendly. When I tell them "LOTS OF BANANA PEPPERS" they don't skimp. The building itself is quite nice and has a little fireplace. I'm happy to have such a nice option near my office!”

Our first two visits we were treated outstanding by the hostess and our waitress, Grace. Today, our experience was not like the rest UNTIL Joy Miller-Long, the manager, intervened. She took time to actually listen to our issue and picked up on the small details, such as our love for Bob Evans banana bread!
