“I am originally from New Jersey, and it is so hard to find an Italian Market in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. I was doing research on new restaurants, bakeries, and markets to try, and I came upon Cortina’s Italian Market. I happened to be in Anaheim, so I stopped there. The Good: They have a great selection of Italian canned goods, homemade sauces, deli options, baked goods (pastries and cookies), and bread. It reminded me of an Italian market I used to go to when I was younger. The cookies and cannolis had great flavor and they were fresh. The prices were reasonable for what I got. The Bad: Their parking lot is too small. I was lucky and found a parking space. I went on a weekday, but I can imagine how jammed it gets on the weekend. I rate all restaurants, bakeries, and markets by whether they are worth driving to in the future. I definitely think Cortina’s is worth a repeat visit, and I look forward to trying some more things the next time I am there.”

“Donatos has delicious pizza. I think it all boils down to their tasty pizza sauce that is on the sweeter side. A good pizza needs a good foundation. The thin crust is our go to but I like their thicker crusts as well. I usually try their specialty pizzas that they have on rotation but the pepperoni is also a solid choice. “This is my first time eating at this Cicis pizza location. When I first came in I noticed how the atmosphere was very clean and I like how everything was very organized. It was easy to find seats! The cashier attended us really quick so there was no wait time. I noticed that the "Spinach Alfredo" pizza was finishing really quick but the workers were always quick to bring out a new one to the front. It's something that I enjoy specially because not all locations are quick to make it i appreciate that team effort!!! Overall restaurant was very clean and so we're the restrooms! “The best African food! This is senegalese food, the lovely food of Senegal! I am never disappointed. The people are lovely here and are happy to tell you about their food. I recommend teaching yourself about their menu before ordering so you dont miss out on anything especially delicious. A favorite of mine is their Okra Soup with foufou (pounded, fermented yam and plantain). Be sure to eat the fufu with your hands and dip it in the soup! I also love their Bissap juice which is like a sweet, hibiscus-mint juice. I like their okra soup a bit more than Ghanaian okra soup i found out- they cook theirs through, while Ghanain okra soup its more slimy. Definitely worth the try, and if you like spicy, be sure to ask for a side of hot sauce to dump in your soup! I also tried their Fataya which is also good, flavorful, and with perfect texture. I sat in the restaurant and enjoyed myself very much! It is small though, so maybe not best for a very large party.”

That aside, thanks really enjoyed the chicken and biscuits. Chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. Mashed potatoes and gravy was good, but could easily pass. Same with Mac n cheese. Hard to say if I would go back just for chicken as it took a little over an hour to find parking, walk to the market place and wait for the food. Thankfully the parking is free for the first hour and you get an extra two with purchase and validation. They do validate at Chicken to Go and food thing they did, because past the first hour it would have been another $10.”

“We had such a great experience at Chef Hip E's. The food was so far beyond what I expected. The Gnarly Marley is seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! My husband got the burrito with the drunken pork, and it came smothered in green chili sauce and crema. Just amazing! A taste explosion in every bite. The portions were huge and the service fast and friendly. We ate dinner in the shade at a picnic table, and brought our own cooler with us, since the General Store had closed at 6. They had good music playing (older rock) and the vibe was very chill. We will definitely be back!”

“Best Sushi place near the Jersey Shore Outlets! My daughter and I stopped here for lunch on our way to to the Jersey Shore Outlets. I was in the mood for sushi and she wanted General Tso's Chicken. The place is very clean and the the service was excellent. For drinks, I ordered hot green tea and water. I had the Red Phoenix Roll - spicy tuna, salmon, white fish, yellowtail, seaweed salad (missing), crabmeat, pepper tuna and masago with special sauce (see photo). My daughter ordered the General Tso's chicken which came with rice (see photo). We were very pleased with our meal. Everything was fresh and made to order. My daughter stated that every time we go shopping, she now wants to come here first. Thank you!”
