“This museum is a wonderful place to learn about the history of the first colony of mexican-texas settlement. This is a newly constructed building with a gift shop and museum. Museum staffs are very friendly and helpful. It has lots of historical remains that people used in the past such as log house, engineer tools, documents. It has a mini theater to play movie about this place. A miniature township and business center and water transportation in the Brazos river will definitely get us to the past. Restroom is very clean. But, they have a broken water fountain and wasting water. Sundays are free visit. Regular day have fee to visit. But it is worth it. We are living and keeping the past next to us without time machine.”
