“Cute little museum with very knowledgeable volunteers running the place. We were able to see the trains they have set up in the back room. Then we walked through the old electric trains outside the mail museum building. We left a donation in their donation box.”

“Mission San Jose is a must see for anyone coming to San Antonio. I know it's not 100% original, but the restoration work that has been done is great and the history is fascinating! Super fun place for the whole family to go.”

“I had read about this site opening up to the public and was curious to see this place. It's very peaceful to walk around the bathhouse and read about the history. The signs shares historical details that take you back in time. It had been a luxurious place back in the day and visited by famous people including Theodore Roosevelt. The parking is conveniently close and there appears to be restrooms also. Wish I had more time since there are trails to discover at the back.”

“Went here with my 12-year-old son today. Why are you guys keeping yourselves a secret?? I'm not a car racing enthusiast, but I've worked in Southwest Philly for 11 years and didn't know you were here! We had a good time learning about the cars and deciding which were our favorites. I suggest considering interactive exhibits to attract more families with young children and field trips. I also agree with the person who said upgraded lighting would help visitors enjoy the beautiful cars. Thank you for giving us a fun and unique outing!”

“It's great to have this place in Houston. Pure history. Pure power. So humble and helpful staff! I attended a public discussion on Afrolatinos in Houston here. They open the doors for this event on a non-working day because they believed in it. That tells you a lot about these nice and beautiful people.”

“Was there in 1980 at a party. Most lovely surreal experience. I climbed up inside a loft area and explored the grounds. Unforgettable ????????????”

“A charming little shop with in lots of history. The store owners are very willing to share it as well if you're willing to listen and ask questions about it. Very nice jewelry and pottery. Almost all pieces are either made by native Americans or modeled after them. A little pricey but considering the quality it's probably warranted. Stop by and take some time to get the history if nothing else.”

“We had an awesome private tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Was super fun to mine our own treasures. The panning was really fun too and our guide was very helpful and patient. All the workers were super fun to talk to. The kids already want to go back!!! Thank you for making our trip special!!”
