“Seeking out Dr.Bob's grave and leaving my anniversary chip there seemed like the right thing to do. In Buddhism, the wisdom mind is said to travel from teacher to student in an unbroken manner. In recovery, we receive the transmission of the recovery mind. Thank you Dr.Bob!”

“This was the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey circus museum when I was a little kid. It was funny to see some of the things I remember from the '60s still on display along with a lot of new exhibits. Make sure you buy the all access ticket so that you can enjoy visiting the mansion it has some amazing rooms, ceilings and furnishings inside. I remember the clown that used to come out to warm up the crowd beating a pair of pie pans together and getting each section of the crowd to cheer. A chance to see a world of another time that should not be missed. You must see the greatest show on Earth.”

“This little museum was delightful. On the day we visited, there was a special display over two rooms, of Bob Baker's marionettes. The lady in the gift shop told us there would be a new display next month. In the front part of the museum are some really beautiful bronze statues, sculptures and paintings - all of which we loved. Each exhibit is accompanied by interesting background information. There's also a lovely gift shop. Admission to the museum is free.”

“Excellent place to learn about the Chitimacha Nation; their culture, history, and ongoing efforts to pass on the culture to current and future generations. Staff are very helpful, and the short film is important to see. Small, well curated museums are always the best, especially when people can tell their own history! Donations highly recommended... and visit the gift shop!”

“What a gem! The gallery space is not large, but is filled with impactful pieces that will captivate you the moment you walk through the door. A gentleman was staffing the place and was super welcoming and knowledgable about the exhibit (Alphabets). He made the experience very enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend visiting this museum and supporting it. We loved every bit of it and definitely plan to return, especially when they have live music! Summary: parking: easy (private lot). Artwork: incredible (definitely have someone explain the pieces in detail, mind blowing!). Staff: welcoming and friendly. Museum: small, very clean, inviting, filled with a respect for all cultures. Worth a visit!”

“I had the privilege to attend an event celebrating the arrival of a Pagani Zonda Revolucion in California. While the Pagani was certainly a highlight, the cars and bikes inside the Marconi museum were incredible as well. Particularly the DeTamaso Pantera with the incredible paint. I would give anything to know exactly what paint it is as it is absolutely stunning.”

“This mansion was so cool! I have been in New England for nearly two years as a missionary and every Monday we do something recreational, this was by far one of the best Mondays of my time here. I wish i could be there for the full Sunday $10 tour. You will learn a lot of cool stuff. I won't spoil any of it. Come with a big group!! We didn't even have time to explore much of the property so I'm sure it's even better for someone who has more then just an hour or two on their hands. Also, fun fact that I will spoil, "knives out" was filmed here!! Remember the $5 parking ticket.”

“The campsites are very well kept. We arrived on Tuesday and left on Friday. We had a walk-up site for our whole stay. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers were clean as well, I didn't care for the sulfer smell coming from the shower water. But if you are not in there very long it's fine. We met the camp host the first night she was very nice. We walked and biked the trails. It was a great time!”

“The Rotary Nature Center is an awesome place to take little kids. It's small and a little rough around the edges, but kids could care less. There's a live snake and tarantula. They also have bees and others stuffed creatures. They also have different nature programs, some restricted to those 18+, and volunteer opportunities. The best place to watch the birds in the nature preserve is right next door. The center sells bird food for a dollar.”
