“Really nice 19th century farm with volunteers helping teach kids and adults about life in the 1800s. The farmers family house, barns, blacksmith shop, chickens, sheep cows, horses and many historic vehicles and farm tools. Feel free to walk around or ask the volunteers for help. They have demonstrations scheduled throughout the year. Highly recommended.”

“I liked it, very informative. There are old photos that goes back to 1917 when the place was built, memorabilia of the history of the plant. Our guide was the best, he knew about everything in the plant.”
Address: Parkview Ln, Silverton, OH 45236, USA
“This is a cool little Heritage museum for the town of Silverton. It's only open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays for a few hours, so it's hard to catch unless you plan ahead. It's run by the block watch association if you need to contact someone about any extended hiatus. Inside they mostly just have photographs, and the building is not original. It's a 1970's replica of the train station that was here as part of the Cincinnati-Lebanon-and-Northern Railway until the 1930's when they stopped using it for passenger trains. It's a pretty tiny park but they have a UDF next door, so it's a nice place to sit and enjoy a milkshake.”

“Small and quiet when we went but free and very interesting. When approaching gate one you're going to turn right as if you're going to the visitor center and the museum is on the immediate right of the visitor center, you can't miss it. You do not need to get on post to see it. Really nice, interesting, and full of history.”

“Charles (Charlie) Brown, III heir to a ceramic fireplace log and gas light fortune built this 19,000 square foot eccentric mansion high above Pittsburgh. It is filled with the best kitschy 1970s faux German style, state of the then art appliances and some fantastic antique music related items. The large collection of rare music machines I enjoyed seeing! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The 2 hour+ tour time flies by. Would highly recommend stopping.”

“A small and unique museum that runs off donations tucked away in the heart of Fortlauderdale. I first discovered this museum a while back when my child was invited to a birthday party. ( yes you can book a party here). One of Fort Lauderdale's original fire houses turned into a museum. You really get a fell for what it would have been like to be a fire fighter in the 1920's. As most of the building is original. But their are plenty of other things to enjoy such as the history of the progression in fighting fighters. As well as old gear and antiques in fire safety. The kids will have a fun time as their are a few activities and games for them as well. The best part is you will leave with a vast knowledge of fire safety and what it's like to put your life on the line for others. Well worth the trip.”

“Amazing gallery! Hands down the first gallery I always go to when in town. The owner is amazing and not pretentious at all, yet they have better art here than in ANY other gallery in Miami. The space is huge, it had well over 100 exhibits and always different when I went. If you collect fine art from up and coming artists as investments, or are out for that one of a kind super edgy piece, or just want to view some thought provoking art with the family THIS is the place to go!”

“As an out-of- towner the museum topics didn't speak to us. I would imagine if you are a local it would be more interesting. It was a free place to spend time before our cave tour. Everyone there was very nice and worth a good conversation.”

“This is an awesome place to visit. It is very clean. The atmosphere is very calming and the Bonsai displays are amazing. They change the displays periodically so chances are, each time you go there you'll find something new. The place is open year round,, but when we went, it was raining. We didn't have the proper rain clothing, so we had to cut our visit short, but had the weather been sunny, we could have spent all day exploring the gardens.”

Happy to be members and would recommend visiting anytime. These two are my favorite, the red trail hawk and bald eagle. So majestic!”
