“Not too big, small playground for kids, looks good for picnics. One basketball hoop and couple tables for eating”

“Had alot of fun here with my kids and a friend and her kid. Did some sled riding, snow man building, and snow fort building. The hills are gentle enough or rough enough for any level of snow seeding fun. During spring, summer, and fall months I believe the lower end where the ball field is, gets a bit marshy. My wife and kids though do like going here all year long.”

“We are currently attending this park because our baseball league has access to conduct their spring season here again. GLP is one of the home parks that University Little League plays. Since they have been playing here, the park environment has improved with the help of their partners and volunteers, who clean prior to the games.”

“It is a great place to play disc golf among the trees. Almost every hole has some shade, so it isn't too hot in the summer. The water is near if you need a quick dip to cook off. There are benches along the way to rest up.”

“I had no idea this hike existed in San Diego County but was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful nature and the view from atop the mountain is very satisfying. You'll see some neat landmarks along the way. I'd rate the difficulty of the hike moderate in Spring time. There were some areas where the bush narrows and could scratch up your arms if you're not careful. I don't remember seeing any bathrooms or porta pottys even at the trail head so just be aware of that. I think this hike also requires an adventure pass which are sold in a shop near the trail head.”

“Great place. Good electric provided. Restrooms, only a short walk away, enough tables. Would have been good nice to have more trash recepticals. We are booking for next year already.”

“Always a great place to bike hike & relax. This is how it looks today - during torrential rain spell ; the lake is full and some of the picnic areas are under water !”

“We had our church camp out and it's clean. Restrooms are nice and clean. Picnic area was plentiful and we had a fire pit with wood provided. We enjoyed ourselves”

“This is a lovely park for camping and the caboose camper cabins they offer are a fun option. My mistake was to come for hiking - the customer service person told me the trails aren’t marked on the map they give out and he didn’t seem to know for sure if there are any or where I could find them. He did tell me to watch out for hunters with bows. The park is fairly small, we didn’t find any actual trails, I would say it is best for family camping since they do offer many different options for that (cabooses, regular cabins, multiple spaces for RVs and tents). There is a small lake with a beach that’s great for swimming, and you can also swim in the river (although the lake is safer). The cabooses should be reserved online first since they are pretty booked up through the summer. Minimum stay is two nights, so they can’t be booked just for an overnight stay. Overall the park is clean, seems safe, and the nature is pretty. We saw lots of different kinds of birds, including a goose nesting right by the camping area.”

“Such a beautiful park. Green grass, so much to explore, the Dam is awesome, park is clean and not one person but me was enjoying the space. Playground area looks fun and has plenty of covered picnic space. Park is also dog friendly!”

“It's really beautiful and nice to walk around. I saw a Biker when I went but I feel the ground is a tad bit too root filled and rocky for that in my taste, but each their own. A very nice wqy to spend an afternoon. There is also a rock on the last stretch that has a wonderful view on top of it”

“Great for exercise and walking your pets. But there is the occasional bum. Not a big deal they mostly want to be alone and at peace because that's the type of park it is. It's not the kind of place you host a party more for just some fresh air, peace, and quiet.”

“My 21 month old grandson's (and my) favorite park. He loves the swings, slide, and jungle gym and the people we have met there are so kind!”
Address: 10 Warson Rd, St. Louis, MO 63124, USA
“Nice little park on the corner. The south side Ladue Rd is effectively a one way that allows for parking. A peaceful little creek runs through the middle and there are a couple of flat rocks near the bank that you can sit on. There are no bathrooms or facilities. Just a quiet and peaceful little corner of Ladue and Warson. Also a great place for suburban bird watching.”

“Good location for a day picnic and good seating arrangement near the stream to get legs wet while picnicking. Also did see a bigger covered stadium which can be reserved.”

“Very nice park in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver, WA. Baseball and soccer fields with a fair amount of parking and restrooms. A small playground for the little kids.”
Address: 4800 Love Rd, El Paso, TX 79922, USA
“My kids really enjoyed this playground, ages 4 and 7. The playground is one of the best playgrounds I’ve been to in el paso. The kids felt like they were in a mini castle kingdom, exploring every corner. I would have given it 4 stars, if the place was kept up a little more, more trash on the ground than expected. Overall, a fun place to take the kids to get some vitamin c.”

“This place was amazing! The running water was so relaxing to hear. We arrived later in the evening and they made sure our envelope with instructions was in an easily seen location. Last minute call and no problem getting a site. Staff was super friendly.”

“Last minute stay here (the nearby yellow post sites were all occupied) but it was a good stay. Nice large campground. Some sites seemed a little crowded. We stayed at #64. This whole row of sites was pretty empty compared to the rest of the campground. Plus, there were no sites on the back side which was nice.”

“Delightful park that provides space for picnics, barbecues, sports like basketball, pickle ball, tennis, and soccer as well as a indoor heated pool open to all ages for fun, exercise or meets.”

“A fantastic local park that boasts 4 standard swings, 3 "baby swings", 1 special needs swing, a tire swing, 7 slides, 5 unlit tennis courts, basketball courts, a field, a play house, impressive play structures, and a legitimate merry-go-round. I thought merry-go-rounds of this nature were outlawed in the 90s due to safety concerns. I understand the safety concerns. When I got the merry-go-round going FAST, my son (3yrs) fell off twice - once on his face, once on his back... he was fine. This is a great park, but supervised play is highly recommended.”

“Great park with access to lake Travis. 8$ per person isn't bad at all and it allowed you to re enter and as well as entry to other Travis county parks. Yes it is clothing optional so keep that in mind. Gets deep pretty quickly but I still managed to find a spot near stairs 1 that was shallow enough for me to hang around all day.”

“I have always loved this place. I visited this park countless times again and again over the course of 10+ years and have brought many family, friends, and girlfriends to walk the environmental landscape that this place has still sustained throughout time. Whether it be feeding the ducks at the pond with slices of bread, walking over the bridges and down the paths in thought, or down the railroad tracks no matter the time of day this had always been a haven of sorts to me and I just cant wait until spring fully comes around so that I can bring my significant other to see all of the ducks tha flock here and all of the different flowers that bloom all over the places. Overall his place will probably forever have my 5star rating. The only thing I wish for is if the community in which it resides in were to come together to upkeep the property to its fullest potential because it is definitely a major tourist attraction if anything for our small little, but growing town if Whitewright.”
