Lake Reba Park

Cloudscraper ZIP Line - Royal Gorge Bridge & Park

Address: 4218 Co Rd 3A, Cañon City, CO 81212, USA

Park

“The last item on my bucket list at 80 years old was to zip line. I wanted to do the Grand Canyon but the facility looked a little sketchy so my next choice was Royal Gorge. It was fantastic. I know the wait is long, yada yada yada, but it was well worth it! I had people cheering me on and a list of people in my pocket who contributed to my experience.”

Discovery Lake

Address: 650 Foxhall Dr, San Marcos, CA 92078, USA

“Nice paved trail around the lake and additional trails that you can hike all around the area. There is a continued walk up to Twin Peaks with dirt trails that branch off to various loops bringing you back around to Discovery Lake.”

Federal Hill Commons

Address: 175 Logan St, Noblesville, IN 46060, USA

Park

“Small playground for kids, VERY NICE bathroom facilities!!! Probably the best out of all the public parks in Hamilton County!!!! Not very good parking access due to that big eyesore being constructed right next to the park for whatever reason.”

Caroline Bartol Preserve at Saguaro Hill

“Nice place for a short morning walk”

Pixley National Wildlife Refuge

Address: Rd 88, Earlimart, CA 93219, USA

Park

“Birds! This is a great place for birdwatching. Today we saw American Avocets, Sandhill Cranes, Cinnamon Teals, Tricolored Blackbirds and many more! Don't miss Kern NWR while in the area, we saw different birds there on the same day.”

SB Cove

Address: Bartlett Dam N, Rio Verde, AZ 85263, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Took the family out in March '22 to SB Cove and had a great time in our little pop-up camper. We got lucky and was able to grab a spot right on the water front. Bring a shovel to help level your campers. You don't need a 4x4 to get to this area and we saw some smaller cars as well. There was a little bit of wind but nothing outrages. We saw a few people catch a lot of fish! Just make sure you buy your Tonto pass before you head out here just in case the kiosk doesn't work and to save a couple of bucks. The 2 bathrooms here were really clean and had absolutely no smell when we used it. You can access the restrooms by hiking back up away from the water.”

George's Lake Nature Trail - Etoniah Creek State Forest

Address: Florahome, FL 32140, USA

Park

“George’s Lake Trail at Etoniah Creek State Forest in Putnam County, Florida offers a 1 mile there-and-back hike to a nice view of George’s Lake. There is also a service road leading to the same spot, so I chose to take that and use the trail on the way back to create a nice loop. The trail is narrow and well-maintained with little traffic. Both it and the service road are easy trails with almost no altitude gain, and a great opportunity if you have small children to get them outside to enjoy nature. A pier at the trail’s end offers both birding opportunities and an enjoyable view of speed and other boats making use of the lake. Fishing is welcome from the pier!”

Legends of Superior Trails

Address: Perlite Rd, Superior, AZ 85173, USA

Park

“This is a beautiful place to hike. Other than all the garbage left from people that can't " pack in and pack out" it's okay”

Centennial Park

Address: 7800 W 171st St, Tinley Park, IL 60487, USA

Park

“Great little walking loop, give or take it's about a mile. Has a decent amount of elevation/ ups and downs for the area. Walkers, runners, families, bikes, rollerblading, baby strollers are all common users of the path. The path isn't overly wide, but I've never felt like its been over crowded to the point that you couldn't comfortably use it. No dog walking allowed. Paved, mostly in good condition with the occasional uneven or damaged section. This area is maintained well. 2 non floating docks to fish off of, they stock. The water level will rise above the docks when we get a lot of rain. Has a small.amount of shore line, good for the kids to play and fishing. Street parking, no parking lot. A dozen or so benches, and another dozen or so table tops. In the middle of a residential area. Not a lot of shade. I wouldn't recommend it as a destination, but if you are in the area it's great for a quick walk.”

Gibbons Community Park

Address: 4701 Gibbons Dr, Carmichael, CA 95608, USA

Park

“Great park to bring the dogs for a walk, shoot some hoops, play tennis or pickle ball. Nice playground for the kids, with clean bathrooms near and exercise stations along the walking trail . Several good spots for picnicking, or to just lay out a blanket and relax. Overall, this is a really nice, well-kept park, and the local community loves it.”

Kiwanis Recreation Park

Address: 301 Latimore St, Painesville, OH 44077, USA

Park

“This park is near downtown Painesville. While many people think of it as where the local HS plays football. baseball and other sport there is more here. Frisbee golf, kids playground equipment, a fishing pond and even a Deck hockey rink call this park home. There even have some walking trails along the Grand River.”

Friendship Park

Address: 15808 SE 254th Pl, Covington, WA 98042, USA

Park

“Well it doesn't really live up to the name, when everyone is In school and its 82° out. And the playground is actually located right next to a house with a barking dog”

My Green Country RV

Address: 2700 Yorman Rd, Bartlesville, OK 74006, USA

Rv park Campground Storage Lodging Car repair Store Park

“Love the location, the atmosphere, and the owners. It's a community, not just a campground. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. There is a playhouse and play area for the children, a shaded pond with a bridge, and a gathering tree for events on hit nights. All the amenities needed to feel at home!”

Pickering Park

Address: 1901 Kimball Ave, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Park

“Decent park in a nice neighborhood with plenty of space to run and play. The playground was fun for my 4 year old as well. He even attempted to utilize the exercise area lol. It was not crowded at all for a Saturday which was amazing. Due to the travel time we probably will not be back anytime soon but did enjoy ourselves.”

Delong-Usher Park

Address: 3836 NY-9L, Lake George, NY 12845, USA

“It’s a cute small beach with a life guard on duty. Ideal for families with small children. Beach is open from 9:30a until 6p. Park area from 8a to 8p. There’s a playground, bbq grills, picnic tables and two pavilions. Great way to enjoy the summer days.”

Vanns Tavern Park

Address: 9300 Vanns Tavern Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506, USA

Park

“Simple park with a short nature trail to the left and a boat ramp, dock, and nature trail loop to the right. In the middle are plenty of parking, benches, and a small wooden pavilion. I did not see a grill present. Nice sandy beach areas appear when the water levels are low. That's pretty much it.”

Bornstedt Park and Splashpad

Address: 19383 Pine St, Sandy, OR 97055, USA

Park

“Excellent park that's great for families. Has a splash pad, playground, a few picnic tables (some covered), a good sized field, and community garden. There's bags for dog poop and trash cans, so it stays pretty clean. The city has a porta-potty there in the late spring - early fall. There's also a Pokemon Go stop and Ingress Portal there for those that play. Every once in awhile someone comes through on motorized scooters or dirt bikes, but it's rare enough the police never catch them.”

Arden Manor Recreation and Park District

Address: 1415 Rushden Dr, Sacramento, CA 95864, USA

Park

“The park is beautiful and well kept. I live nearby, in Arden Parks and the quality of their parks is almost the same as the Arden Manor. They Staff have really turned the parks around in the past few years. The pool is nice and the deck has just been redone. The astro-turf soccer field is perfect for kids, seeing as its closed off and away from the busy street. Its amazing to see how far they have come in such a short time. I look forward to seeing how the parks keep improving.”
