“The couple that run the office are so polite and helpful. My wife and I stay here about 6 months of the year for a couple years now when visiting the east coast. Safe and clean park. Not much around but if you need a little stop where you don't have to worry about leaving your RV to go to the beach, this is the place. Reasonably priced monthly that includes electricity. “Had my daughters Baby Shower there on 7-9-2022 and it was absolutely beautiful!!! Pavilion was a perfect size for our group. The grass area was Huge for all the kids to play and have fun. Would definitely use this place again. Only issue was not being able to tape or tack decorations on the pavilion.”

“Visiting my son who lives in nearby community and he wanted to show me this nice short hiking trail he enjoys. Amazed at how the park looks with ball diamond, park shelter and the Greenest grass surrounding I've seen in Colorado. Yes I'm from the Midwest. The short trail eventually took us to a creek with and abundance of deer just grazing and checking us out. For some reason it felt like the air was cooler with humidity versus the dry air your accustom too once you leave the park. Maybe explains the abundance of trees and greenery. Nice Job with the Park”

“Went by to golf this weekend, greens are in great shape and the family that runs it is great. They also just opened the pub for food and my burger was bomb. The guy that runs it says it's all handmade, including the bacon. He also said they are gonna be making food with honey from the bee hives they have on the property. Gotta check this restaurant out! “The outstanding features of Brookes Park are the historic buildings that have been relocated to the park including the Knobbe House (mid-1800s), the Little Red Schoolhouse (1852 Elm Grove School), and the Utz-Teson House. There is also a pavilion a bar-b-que, picnic areas, a playground, and restrooms. Take care not to fall on the overabundance of sweetgum balls! It appears that they have lost a lot of old growth trees recently. I hope they are able to plant more shade trees.”
