“Very nice park, for young kids and older. We went for the first time this evening and there were softball and soccer games going on, people on walks with dogs and kids playing. It was a very nice environment. The small kid area (2-5) is separate from the bigger kid area but close by.”

Fort Caroline National Memorial

Address: 12713 Fort Caroline Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225, USA

Park

“This park is very dog friendly. Dogs are allowed everywhere but the visitor center. It is also part of the Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve, so you can do the nature trail for that as well. The visitor center had passport stamps for both parks. There is about a 10 minute walk to get to the fort. It is mostly flat. The fort itself was very small but in great shape. There were some docks to overlook the water on the walk to it.”

Jenny Lind Community Garden

Gardeners meet during the season to exchange info and tips. Any excess produce is taken to a local food shelf.”

Little League Park

Address: 730 113th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434, USA

Park

“There's no basketball hoop but there are two baseball fields and a playground for kids with a section for toddlers, and a couple of fields. The creek nearby is pretty but smells like sewage. This park is great and mostly has nice people, but I have had a couple of weird run-ins. There was a homeless woman staying in the porta potty. I was scared to death to check on her because I was always afraid she wouldn't be breathing anymore but one day I came back and she was gone and her clothes and personal items including a purse and tampons were scattered throughout the porta potty and spilling out into the grass just outside of the porta potty. My family also went to this park and had a weird run in with a couple that seemed to be intoxicated. I've also noticed that people smoke weed in the back parking lot but they have been chill about it and haven't bothered anyone. When I walk by they smile and wave. I've had my dogs off leash here and haven't had hardly any issues. I did have Blaine PD stop and explain that the dog should be on a leash but they respected that I was out exercising my dog and that they were just doing their job. Blaine PD hangs out at this park off and on and I have always had pleasant interactions with them. For the most part this park has been great, but I do get nervous sometimes walking the trails since they are closed in by trees. I try not to have a routine so that no bad guys can pick up on my habits and follow me back there.”

“I once went here as a kid for an overnight school field trip and remember this place very fondly. I hope to see it again someday. I remember the gazebo where we ate our meals and walking into the tall grass field where we set up little traps for mice/rats where there was a lesson on the different species. I remember I had ended up catching a pygmy mouse and it being the only one in the group. I remember sleeping in the house with the bunk beds and the deer head hanging on the wall. I was maybe 11 at the time and am now 25. Forgot the name of this place till looking to move into the area from Houston.”

“A really fun hike to do with a loved one, or alone. We loved the bridges and the easy-to-follow trail. It's definitely been taken care of well. It took us 4 hours round-trip to get to the top and back. But definitely worth it! The views from the top were breathtaking! The elevation gain was easy; there are quite a bit of switchbacks that make the climb easier. There's a sign at every fork in the road to help you stay on your chosen path. Plenty of parking in the shade. All told, a fun, gorgeous hike. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Gorgeous Park with tons to offer. Off Leash Dog Park, Disc Golf, Challenging Hiking Trails, Playground, Clean Restrooms, Tons of Picnic Tables and Benches, Mountain Bike Trails, and more... I actually spent 2 days at this park recently and Did all the Hiking Trails and Fields. A Loop and Reverse B Loop, Finished by the Nature Trail. A Loop is Moderate and secluded, but deeper you will find the Strenuous and challenging Loop B. You can easily hike 3 to 4 miles and be secluded from the world. I spent my time filming for my YouTube Channel "The Trail and Hike Channel" and it got pretty crazy. Alot went wrong, mistakes were made, and I paid the price. Check out the channel and Subscribe to find other hidden treasures and join my journeys to a healthier life both Physically and Mentally. (The Video from this adventure will be out August 12th, 2022) Highly recommend this park for anyone. If you like trail walking, A Loop. If you like Hiking and a challenge, B Loop in Reverse. Plenty of friendly critters and sights to behold.”
