“The holiday shops were nice to visit. Great places to pick up gifts for family and friends or a little something for yourself. They've got clothing, candles, holiday decor, fragrances, jewelry, pet themed socks, and a host of other items. There are several places to grab a bite to eat. We tried the menu from the Chinese, Indian, and Mexican restaurants and everything was delicious. You can get a small bite from each restaurant if you want to give them all a try or you can get full meals, whatever your preference. There are enough options for everyone to get what they want and places where you can all sit together and chat. The holiday bar was also nice and located next to the skate rink. Plenty of places to sit with friends. It rained when we went and because the shops are inside most were open when we got there in the evening. So this place is a good market to visit rain or shine. The park is about a 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station and is convenient to get to.”

“Large park with great playground. If you don’t like sand, this ain’t the park for you. Luckily my toddler loves sand. Lots of shade for parents and families, multiple pavilions with park benches. Grassy area to run around or relax in. LOTS of shade. This park doesn’t have its own parking lot and is surrounded almost entirely by houses which is great for me because I’m not concerned about my kids running in the street. Playground is located centrally in the park. The playground itself is not covered by shade but the surrounding areas are.”

“Great customer service! I put in the wrong address and they were able to go to the post office and make sure it was sent to the right one before sending it. Highly recommended operation.”

“Mt Davidson is a scenic and quaint getaway from the buzzing streets of SF. Located close enough to Twin Peaks to almost offer the same views, it brings the advantage of being less crowded, so overall a good time. Reasons you should visit: 1. Dramatic panoramic views in every direction. On a clear day, you can see far the hills of the faraway south bay and diablo area. 2. Tree cover for most of the climb up to the summit, which is unique for an SF park. This is made even better on rainy and foggy days, as the park develops a mystic charm. 3. Surrounded by residential neighborhoods, so there's very little noise pollution from traffic and most foot traffic is friendly. Highly recommend adding to your SF bucket list if you haven't seen it already!”

“Nice quiet place with a small waterfall and a huge rock up the hillside. Everyone is super friendly and easy going. The roads a little rough but it keeps the cars from going fast in and out.”

“What a lovely park. We stayed at the Atlantic RV Campground and it was pretty great. Cross the dunes and you’re on the beach! 25 minute beach walk will get you to Fort Clinch where for $2.50 you can explore the 170 year old fort. Tons life of wild life. Deer seem to really enjoy hanging out near the camp. Armadillos always seem to be crossing the road, please watch your speed around here. We saw a beautiful sea turtle while walking to the fort. Not too many bugs in the campground, because of the proximity to the ocean. We got spot # 10, which I think is the best spot in this campground with direct view of the dunes and the Atlantic. The bathrooms are cleaned every day, showers are spacious with good water pressure. While fishing off the beach you can catch red fish, drum, whiting, pompanos, etc. Oh and Georgia is just across the channel. Stark teeth hunting is big here, too! Awesome, knowledgeable staff. We loved our 4 days here and are definitely coming back!”

“Small little lake tucked between 3 neighborhoods. Easy trail for a run. Lots of playgrounds for little ones to explore. The scariest thing I have run across on the trail at night (for about 7yrs) is a beaver.”

“Interesting park entrance. The fact that there are essentially two routes, one concrete and one dirt, makes it feel like you have options. It's a good roundabout way to get into the reservation. The hill makes for some good minor exercise.”

“Nice older lady runs the place, there's a charming caboose that unfortunately isn't being used for the office anymore because of stupid paranoid New York covid rules. The campground is planted right on a river and the feeling here is quiet and peaceful.... We arrived on a warm night after a strong rain and saw a hundred or more fireflies blinking near the bridge! The only thing I didn't like was the field sites, even the electric ones--the sites are completely open to sun and broiling hot by 10 am, so I'd recommend making sure you're in a shaded over site if its summertime. Other than the shade problem, no complaints!!”

“This park was fun, right by a community center where you can use the bathrooms. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The playground was fun, and there were picnic benches nearby. This was a fun place for some imagination to happen with the castle appearance.”

“This is a high quality prairie remnant owned and managed by Carlton College. I came to see pasque flowers in bloom and was not disappointed! Also blooming were a few prairie smoke and prairie violets. Spring is here with more species blooming soon.”

“Great local small town city park. There's a pavilion and plenty of pieces of playground equipment. There are a few benches some basketball goals as well as parking. Not the newest of equipment, but not in terrible shape either. Kids had fun on the slides and the actual merry-go-round. Great little park.”

“I was stuck in the hustle and bustle and came across this gem on my GPS. It was only $10 (can get online or in-person). It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Being, that it was a weekday, there was almost no one. The sounds of so many birds, was incredible. Walking by the ponds and hearing the water, was incredibly peaceful. I was able to take my time and walked the entire garden. Be aware, there are some small freaks, closed for updating. Great place to get away from the noisy city streets.”

“Nice quiet and secluded park. It has about 8 solar charging ports, 2 basketball courts a playground for the kids and a large grassy area to sit in the grass or play some football. I would recommend. Its really dark at night so be carefull, and aside from that its cozy with a few benches.”
