“This is the coolest oldest cemetery that overlooks mukilteo beach. Huge hundred year old trees shade the historic cemetery and while reading the old tombstones don't forget to look up and see the breathtaking view across the pudgetbsound.”

“Dorothy Bothell Park is a small but beautiful park, there is a small play area with a climbing rock, a couple of concrete animals for kids to sit on, a small swing for toddlers and and a tester totter and small bench. There is nice grass area to sit and rest, and if you choose to take a walk, Vista ridge trail is just at the edge of the park”

“Great campground! Very well maintained. Sites are well leveled and spacious. Staff is very friendly. Two beaches, playground, boat launch. Great experience for novice camper. Only complaint- they sold me firewood that would just not burn, tried several fire starters, finally went to a nearby gas station to get some normal wood for the campfire.”

“It was a great unplanned stop on a trip. We picked up a couple of pie pumpkins and smaller decorative ones. First batch of pies turned out great! And the mini-pumpkins made for some nice fall decorations. The people working the store were super helpful and friendly. This place will be on the list of places to go next year.”

“Highly recommend this park/camp ground. Bring your bikes, pets, tents and all. If you can, book campsite 16 or 17, you will not be disappointed, it's right next to the lake shore. This place is sooooo beautiful! Plus, the owners rock, literally some of the nicest people on the planet. This is one place around the Austin area that you should have on your list to check out.”

“Swimming beach is fairly gravelly. The bottom of the lake get pretty squishy the farther out you swim, with 6-10 inches of soft squishy mud. Otherwise it is a very relaxing atmosphere good for families to spend the afternoon.”

“We last minute needed to put an extra dog in with two others and the owners were very understanding and provided care to not one but three of our dogs. It is very obvious the owners care about dogs a lot and provided loving company to them while we were away on our vacation. They even provided pictures of our “kids” during the week, which was great! We hope to board again with them in the future!”

“Nice place. Prairie is awesome. Would be great to 1). really improve signage about the prairie, 2) put Benches at the end of the trails where the rock walls are, 3) open bathrooms, 4) Post contact info for people to call to volunteer to improve the prairie.”

“It's a small hike (with all your gear, it can be cumbersome) to the river's edge, but it's all good from there. It's easy to get in because of the concrete stadium steps they have going right into the water. Nice slow float, with a few stops along the way (there's a 20-25 ft cliff that you can jump from at about the halfway point), and it lasted about 2 hours. We did paddle through the small rapids that pop up from time to time, so that may have made it go quicker than others experience. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in August.”

“Definitely enjoyed a morning here! Good mix of paved and unpaved trails to walk/explore. Connected to Oak Leaf for walking/biking, close enough to the city to be a simple, part of the day, trip. Busy, but not overwhelmingly so, on the weekend. Looking forward to heading back at some point to find out more! Worth a stop if its in your area!”
