“We have been doing rec league soccer here for the kids for a few years. It's a pretty nice park with lots of space to run, a full basketball court, 4 pickle ball courts with hours posted for association and open, plus a wall to hit/practice on your own. There is the pool (fees) and splash pad, restrooms, and several sections with playground equipment. The pool is also reservable for private parties. Can't forget the sand volleyball court. That is on top of the walking trails and views many others have posted, and the new pavilion. Get out and explore!”

“I love this park. I have been taking my kids to this park for a long long time. My dad also likes this park when visiting from Olympia. The only reason for four stars is you get your usually entitled gig harborite who says something smart or looks at you sideways for being on thier playground... It's a nice park tho. Should visit. Cool playground with instruments outside for kids to play, a big field, and I haven't went myself but I believe there is wooded trails for dog walks there also.”

“It's good open green field. Walking trails. Golf course. Playgrounds. Police patrol. Grounds equipment maintenance. Truly is a nice park. I have personally seen and experienced all of the above and then some. Park patrons mostly respectful of park rules. No smoking, no dogs. The splash pad not open as of yet. June 2021. But still amazing park!”

“The Rockport RV Resort is a perfect place for us to get away. The ground are so well kept. The hookups are adequate and easy to access and use. The staff is so helpful and attentive. “It's a nice park. The foresters there are a bit overzealous so you really have to watch their policies. If you want to like play fetch with a well behaved dog make sure you go before 9am because it's a no go even if no one's there after. Not the staffs fault their just following the rules but make sure you know there are no exceptions.”

“Completely transformed over the last 10 years to focus on the Monitor as it’s prime exhibit. Includes the turret and a large number of artifacts, plus a full size model of the entire ship outdoors and a full sized model of the turret indoors. The real thing is there undergoing preservation for years with good progress, but you can barely see it since it is under water. Beyond that, it has a huge Americas Cup yacht so big that even its own building is too small, a few small boats that now have an climate controlled warehouse, and an amazing set ships models.”
