It's never as crowded as the other launch site in Leo Ryan park, the dock area is large and there are parking spots a few feet from the water edge - so one need not lug the boat too far. The water is calm, no need to worry about tide or waves.”

“My wife and a friend visited to hike on the trails. We've always thoroughly enjoyed this park. It is well kept and the staff genuinely enjoy people and the park. There are numerous trails for various skill levels, fishing is available as well as a swimming pool, volleyball courts, swings, a soccer field and overnight camping is available if you have a tent. This place is a well kept secret so I hope I'm not going to drive thousands of people to make it crowded. It's a quiet place for contemplation and reflection.”

We did not find the real parking lot, so parked off to the side of a one lane road. Parking could be an issue on a nice day. A plus is that this park is just down the road from Manchester State Park, if you don't find what you want here it's only 5 minutes to an alternative.”

There were some of the biggest trees I've ever seen down by the creek and I was just floored by how serene it was to just walk around with my family. “Nice looking park. Half court basketball with 2 goals, plenty of open space great for pet owners, typical playground fare (i.e slides, etc) are enclosed by fence so the kiddos don't stray too far/get hit by stray ball. All around a great vibes. 10 out of 10, would go again.”

“I asked my girlfriend to marry me at the gazebo, right before the great snowstorm of January 2022. It was a wonderful and special day. And very cold, so much so that we couldn’t stop laughing. In many ways the story of our love and lives together is tied to memories at this park, so we’re grateful for that and will probably never forget it. So, maybe if you come to this park you will fall in (fallon?) love. Or maybe you will see kids playing in the creek or dogs sprinting in circles, and that would be fun too.”
