“It is true that it is posted as Cobb County property and not to trespass. That being said...lol...if you'd like to walk around it a bit, I would recommend turning into the bus entrance just past or just before (to the right/east) of the Lockheed Elementary School entrance on Merritt Rd. (Obviously do not do this during school hours.) Looking at Google Maps, the bus entrance is the little Merritt Rd that hugs the greenspace. The gated/posted entrance to the greenspace is at that elbow turn, which you will pass, and just after it on the right is a turn-in to a little parking lot, where you can park and then just walk back up to the greenspace entrance. There is a short gravely loop (not shaded) around this lower portion of the greenspace (check it out on satellite view), but it connects with the sewer line trails in the woods and along the creek that give you many options for an extended hike. Do not go shortly after a rain, or prepare to get muddy.”

“Beautiful hidden gem of a park. Lots of birds and foliage. Multiple soft walking trails. Nature at its finest.”

“I like the tree cover there, but the splash pad is so outdated and some of the nozzles are filling up with sediment. About 4-5 tables to sit and eat. Restrooms look like they've been redone. Still need people coming out at least twice a day to clean em.”

“Beautiful and clean nursery. And Vanessa, the young lady who runs the office is awesome. Friendly, patient and VERY helpful. I live in Broward and the drive is worth it. Went yesterday and going back today because it wasn't enough room on the truck for more plants. ❤❤❤”

“Great trails for walking- lots of options! I really enjoyed the information stops. The signs had a phone number you could call and get info and stories about the location you were at- very nice. A good way to spend an afternoon and get in some exercise and history!”

“Taylor's Dream is a fun park. Spread out with space for kids to move. Well organized with a section geared towards smaller kids with a smaller climbing play area and swings on one side and a separate play area with climbing swings etc on the other side brought together by a splash pad between them. There are additional swings nearby with a dinosaur skeleton that is fun for climbing on and under along with a game set up where you have to think fast to tap your color as it comes up on the various screens around the circle. It is a good places to bring your kids and to meet up with other families.”

“Beautiful place and love the atmosphere. I would suggest not going during Florida’s rainy season. Most of the sites were flooded and swampy. We had a concrete pad, but only the premium sites had this. Also lots of noise from the race track on 64 throughout most of Saturday night. I would suggest you come in the winter and not come when the race track is open.”

“Very nice. Lots of trees, benches, shade. Good sized area. Water dishes available. Looks like people bring gallons of water & leave them. If you think of it, bring a gallon.”

“Great place for a hike or bike. Not as busy as other open spaces. Biking terrain for all levels with ranging from trails requiring expert biking experience to others that a kid could ride. People do often walk their dogs with no leashes which hasn't been too big a problem with a couple friendly (fortunately) dogs chasing after me on my bike about twice in a year cycle.”

“Well maintained, expansive grassy area with accessible sidewalk surrounding it. A nice 0.4mi loop. Two playgrounds for kids, one catered to younger children and one with play equipment for older children. Each play area has shaded picnic tables. Street parking only.”

“So far so good. The cabin is really cute and functional. Grateful to have the pet friendly option, I believe there is only one cabin designated for it. It's notable that the floors are somehow quite slippery... My kids keep falling (just wearing their socks or stepping on a piece of clothing/ something else that shouldn't have been left there anyway...) I'm not complaining, I figure it may be helpful for someone, especially elderly, to know beforehand so they can bring grippy socks or slippers. I also appreciate the close playground. There is no hand soap, bar or liquid, at either sink. There is dish soap at the kitchen sink however.”

“Always known as the "big" playground in RVA, we took our children here 20+ yrs ago and today our grandchildren. Over the years, it has expanded. From the wooden step fort of the past, to newer equipment added to playlots surrounding it. A nice pavilion stands in its midst with several tables, providing a great cool place for a picnic lunch. The playgrounds are available to the public after school hrs during the week and all day on weekends.”

“They did an admirable job of trying to make the county happy and the guests happy. Overall a really great experience. The vendors were great, the weather was fantastic, the shows were excellent, and the grounds were beautiful. You cant see everything in one day. Every weekend has a different theme. Parking can be a hassle for sure, show up early or risk waiting on the two lane road from I35 for a bit. If you stay till close, you will be waiting again. If you know this going in then you will be less frustrated.”

“Nice, large open park. A little creek runs through the center. The disc golf course is nice, which is why I typically visit. Lots of other stuff too... Gazebo, volleyball court, football/softball field. People often bring their dogs, so your pup will have some friends also”

Address: Rimrock Park, 2906 Rockwood Dr, Madison, WI 53713, USA
“It's a cute little park with a climbing wall. Better for kids 6 and under than older kids. Google maps sent us through Brighton Square Apartments parking lot to get there, which works, but isn't convenient. You can drive right to it on Rockwood and park on the street directly in front of it.”
