“I recently went here for the first time and the experience was great. It's a perfect place for beginners to get comfortable with the ramps and drop ins. The next time a come here, I will definitely bring my friends and some snacks and just hang out there for the afternoon. The only slight note is that it is directly in the sun and it's a little bit uncomfortable, but as long as you have water with you, it shouldn't be a problem. Overall, it's a really good place to hang out!”

Josh even gave me helpful tips on things I could do to make the area look even better. Josh was very particular with the placement of my palm trees and flowers and James ensured my sprinkler system was set accordingly to not only ensure my new flowers were cared for but for my existing flower bed in the front of the home as well. “Beautiful travel system and hiking. We took one of the side paths and followed it down to the river. We saw several others walking the trail, but not bikes. I would rate this trail an easy start, while having moderate to difficult spots. The bridge seems very dated and one board has fallen through.”

“Seriously a beautiful place, especially at sunset. You can get amazing views of Saint Paul while the sun is setting. A must go to if you’re in Saint Paul or not. Because the views are that good. You can also see the actual Indian burial mounds which are also very neat to see. Highly recommend. This is definitely what makes the east side what it is. A true gem of the east side.”

“Great nature center and preserve no matter if you're just going there yourself or are taking the family with. Common wildlife includes deer, chipmunks, squirrels (including black ones), woodpeckers, robins, sparrows, and goldfinches. Deep in the preserve is the Marsh Tower, which is a small elevated wood platform you can walk stairs up to, and it's a nice view from the top. Perfect place to go to in the summer!”
