“This review is long overdue. My mom, who just turned 95 was first at Longmeadow for rehab following hospitalization. She was there 3 weeks and received amazing care from a staff that is second to none. After her release she was home for nearly a month and her health deteriorated pretty quickly. By this time she was under the care of Old Colony Hospice, itself an incredibly wonderful agency. When we could no longer care for her at home, we were happy to find that Longmeadow was able to take her in. We were so fortunate to have her there. Within a month she had completely bounced back and we brought her home again. People have misconceptions and stereotypes about nursing homes. Longmeadow is a very different facility. From the moment you walk in, you notice that the place is bright, cheerful, and impeccably clean. You expect to find that "nursing home smell", but not at Longmeadow! The housekeeping staff keeps the place clean and fresh at all times. Now that my mom is home and doing quite well, on her behalf I want to thank the staff at Longmeadow for their caring, professional, and efficient care and for their sensitivity and patience with our family. Ashley, Brook, Anna and the rest of the nursing staff are absolutely amazing in their patience, professionalism and in their genuine regard for the patients. My mom thrived under their care. The PA, James, always found time to answer our questions and his expertise directly contributed to my mom's almost miraculous improvement. Even the housekeeping staff took time to visit with my mom while engaged in their duties. The CNAs were always available to assist my mom or to listen to her complaints. My mom has been home for just over a month and someone from the social services department called me to ask how she was doing and to remind me that they are always willing to assist in any way they can. In summary, it is reassuring to our family to know that if my mom requires nursing home care again in the future that we can count on the staff at Longmeadow of Taunton to care for her as if she were their very own.”

“I had a wonderful 4 weeks (3x a week) experience with PT Grace and staff especially Amanda. They were always on time, very efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. Grace always inquired about my progress, if my pain was improving, and what was working best for me each week. She took extensive notes the entire time I was there. The place was very clean and I looked forward to each visit.”
