“Update, back again Dec 5th, Oysters are Great, and will be for the next few months, go get u-Sum. This was my second trip in two weeks on Tuesdays. It's half priced Oysters. Their good size for tourists and locals alike. Their called St Bernard, Dunno. They are salty and in two/three weeks should be healthy/fat. They are served clean and no shells, Great job. I have been coming to this location for the past 3 years. I wish they had a location in New Braunfels. The 30 Minute Drive to Schertz is definitely worth this Incredible Barbacoa. The interior is pretty typical of a fast-food style restaurant: mostly fixed booths with some accessible tables & chairs. Loving a steak & cheese sandwich, I ordered the mushroom steak & cheese. I got it to go and made the 5 minute drive home. It was just warm when I got there so I had to pop it into the nuke-o-matic for about 40 seconds to get it to a decent temp. Leave it in the paper & the bread won't dry out. The amount of cheese I found quite light. Wasn't expecting tomato in there either but it worked. I'll be going back to try some other choices and will adjust if needed.”

They’re amazing with their community! Their food is AUTHENTIC, MOUTH WATERING And SO FRESH! They are clean with their food and wear gloves! I drive almost a hour 2-3 times a week to get their food, I won’t go anywhere else! I know they’re close to getting their new truck so I can only see them going up from here! “My wife and I eat at Il Cavallino at least once a week. The food is consistently delicious with fresh local fruit and vegetables. We particularly enjoy the made-to-order omelettes, pecan peach French toast, the daily homemade soup and the fajitas. The restaurant is very clean and inviting and includes free wifi. This is a one person kitchen so the attention to each meal may take a bit longer to prepare but it is well worth the wait!”
