“We pulled in from Tennessee in early January. Two bumper pull travel trailers. Ours and our daughter's. She has a German Shepherd and a mix medium size dog, we have a Great Pyrenees and a medium size mix. The last park we were in we were always tense, although our dogs are extremely well trained and had a good reputation. We have been relaxed here. We have made many friends and their dogs. The dog park is a blast! We met the owner and he was very nice. If there is a need or problem, he is on it. If your dog is aggressive or you need help with a behavior problem, there is a fantastic dog trainer who has helped 3 people with aggressive dogs (attacked two of our dogs!). Word is spreading and great things are happening in the dog park!!! It's quiet here. We like that. The manager, Christina, is a great manager and very kind. She works closely with the maintenance man and owner. She sincerely cares about everyone. The showers and bathrooms are clean. The rec room has alot in thereto enjoy. There are alot of trees and a horseshoe pit and large grassy area for corn hole, etc. We definitely would recommend Hooves-n-Wheels!!!!!”

“Decent rv park. Doesn’t look like luxury but they have nice amenities. Stayed for 7 days. Staff was very nice. We had no issues besides water being cut off a couple of times but for no more then an hour. Definitely will be back! They also have a SUPER nice youth center for the kiddos.”

I do wish the management was better, and although the park manager, does a decent job, there are always those people that move in that just don't do the place justice. It's a nice community but sometimes there are bad apples. I'm glad they are getting around to actually fixing it up, however. Keep up the good work over there!”

But the managers are also so kind, so quick to respond and will seriously do anything they can to help. This park is mostly older folk and lots of families so it's nice and quiet. “We just got back from an amazing anniversary weekend at Banning Mills. We wanted to get away for a weekend but not have to drive super far and are glad we picked this place. We stayed in a tree house with the creek view which was super cozy. We played mini golf, hit the trails and of course went zip lining!!! We did levels 1-3 then added on the ridge runner which was spectacular. The gourmet dinner was amazing and the whole weekend they were accommodating of me being a vegetarian. We will be back for more adventures and highly recommend.”

“I’ve been staying here with my sister for the last two years and I am impressed with staff and management. The manager, Rick, is helpful, informative and friendly. The park is kept clean and I love the peace and quiet at night. The neighbors are friendly and I feel safe here in this small community. My little Dachshund loves the dog park which is kept mowed and green. Finding good management and staff is unfortunately, rare. I am 77 and I lived in parks on and off over the years. Rick is one of the few managers I’ve met that is efficient, professional and kind.”

Only negative thing is that it takes awhile to get to it from the highway. To exit K-Mar, you have to follow the frontage road around about 1/4 mile to Seminary drive.”

“I was so appreciative of this place. The lady who was working in the front knew I was having an awful week, and she gave me a hug. She talked with me, and made me feel comfortable and safe, which is what I currently needed-The Southern hospitality I didn’t receive the past week in Convent. They have a beautiful pool area, a good size playground, and the RV space is a great amount, not to mention their general store is racked with so many spices that I’m really wanting to head back in there and grab some amazing items to try and do some grilling on their fire pits! If you’re looking for a great destination to enjoy the Deep South’s exotic and absolutely delicious food, you’re very close to the Chicken Bayou which has an amazing selection of Louisiana’s beautiful cuisine. Above all, this seems like a place that will be placed in my Google Save.”
