“Called to see if there was a spot for a night while we were on the road for an electric only spot and the owner was quick to reply back to let us know there was a spot for the evening and was kind enough to let us borrow a converter as I had just bought a horse trailer with living quarters and hadn't bought all the bits and pieces to go with it. We called an hour before we would arrive and they made sure we had the correct address. In and out, no fuss.”

“Like any community you live in, there’s always ups and downs. I’ll say that the Wauona Trails Manor park has more ups then downs. Great place to live, most people mind their own business. Most people here watch out for their neighbors and are pretty decent. Kathy the manager is awesome to work with. She knows our problems and limitations and is a top notch manager to work with. Been here four years and probably about the happiest I’ve been living in a community of people.”

“This is a 55+ Park, one adult has to be that age to live here. The space rent is $735 currently which is low for these types of parks. Quiet living and residents are nice. Most residents keep up their yards unless they're not able to hire someone.”

“This was a lovely & relaxing park, quiet & peaceful - the dogs that we did see were all on leashes (even the long time stays) and most people seemed to clean up their dog poo (only saw a few instances of poop on the ground). There was a path to walk the dogs around a big field that was free of burs, and full of flowers - bluebonnets we're gorgeous!! The managers were all very nice to talk to & we're friendly & helpful. It was a great place to stay, and we would love to stay here again.”

“Cool Community I came in and spoke with Shelby about possibly moving here. I am very Happy to see you hire diverse people like Shelby. (Tattoos, piercings) I wish more people and companies would! She is super sweet, and very funny. She's always making residents smile and Laugh and I seen that just from the 20 mins I spent with her touring the community. Tiffany is very sweet also(I've only spoken on the phone with her). She's always very kind on the phone too. They have a playground and a basketball court! Perfect for my kids to play at!”

“Entrances need work. Theyre adding more spaces. The owner is super nice and helpful. Close to the highway so you'll hear that noise. Residents are quiet though. Has on-site laundry and soda machines and a coin change machine! Rv spaces are spacious, fit 2 trucks or maybe 3 cars. All spaces have picnic tables which is nice. All spaces are paved too and have 2 sewage connections. Electric connections are also super nice and organized and light up when on and turn off when there's an outage so that's helpful in a storm.”

I am happy that Christina was able to get the roads fixed. I would like to say that Christina is a very excellent manager. I have been going through some trying times and she has been there for me. She is very understanding. She has went way above and beyond to help me. I say she needs a good raise..”

“The lady working here is amazing and very helpful. The campground is a little small but a quiet place to be. They are currently starting on Monday having the roads go from chat to asphalt which will be a nice touch to the park. They have a laundry room as well. You have to download an app to pay to use the washers and dryers. They have short and long term stays. You pay online through the website. Weekly was 225. If you would like to stay monthly they do background checks. The camp has a small dog run area as well.”

“This park is true gem ! My family stayed here for a few months and it was absolutely wonderful . The grounds are super clean and the bathrooms here are top notch . The park is very pet friendly we have 2 large dogs and there is a large field to play and walk . The roads around the park are not busy at all so we were able to go for long walks . The views of the hills and night sky are superb . The staff was super helpful ,anything you may need or any issues are handled quickly . Anytime we are in the area we will definitely be returning here. Thank you all for a great stay and keep up the great work!”

“I purchased a mobile home in the park in Nov 2013 moved in Dec of the same year I am extremely happy in this park... I like that there is a strict policy about qualifying to rent with a positive credit score and proof of income before you can purchase, honestly I believe it keeps out the riff-raff. The park itself is clean and kept looking that way. Mgnt is helpful within their boundaries, and aren't park police which is fine with me. I will say that having the property owner living here is a bonus he is happy to smile and chat with you which make his park feel more like a small town nothing like the corporate big business owned properties I've read reviews about. The park is a quiet senior park but not excessively so, people here aren't waiting to die, they are friendly, most are active and love to talk. I enjoy having my neighbors wave and say hello as I come and go there a sense of watching out after each other I truly appreciate. Pets are allowed at a weight limit, I don't have a problem with large breeds but I understand the need for a weight limit in this small park. I also like that I have been able to landscape my property as I like within the rules as to not being cluttered towards the street view. Rent increases are more than fair with a one year lease signing available and one of the most important things Go Forth Village is motorcycle friendly which is a huge plus as I am a full-time rider with friends that ride too, not all parks family or senior allow motorcycle on property. Lastly and I can't say this enough I like living here, I like my neighbors and the management, I like the location of my home in the park, I like that there is only one entrance and its by the mgrs office, I like that there is a grocery store across the street and shopping of all kinds and restaurants is close by... I'm giving it 5/5”

“"DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER" My wife was skeptical about staying here but was swiftly opening up to the idea while checking in with the new GM Stephanie, (a U.S Army Veteran like myself )was very warm and welcoming . The room was clean, very comfortable, and Inviting. Stephanie was also extremely accommodating. She went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable , we got to hotel super early and we were allowed to check in early at 10am, she doesn't l know how much stress she relieved by doing that. I know from personal experience that no other accommodations in the area would do that ! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to stay in Mathis, or just stopping through! The also have a RV park located in the back !”
