“I've been wanting to get in guitar lessons for some time now but had no clue on where to start. Brett messaged me and set up a time for us to call so we can discuss classes and what he offers. The passion in his voice just speaking over the phone with him made me so excited and eager to start learning! I didn't have a guitar and he offered to take me to a guitar shop and help on his own time! As soon as I arrived at his studio I knew I was in the right place. He told me some different options and let me try out an acoustic guitar vs an electric to see what would be best for me. After him explaining in detail the difference and advantages of each one, he took me to a guitar shop where he personally found something both in my budget and that was great quality. He got me a fantastic deal and we didn't go over budget! I was very happy that he listened to my needs and wants while also using his expertise to find what was best. We then went back to his studio where he spent more time telling me about his program, and how to take care of my guitar. I was a bit doubtful learning something new but after this one visit the doubt in my mind is gone. I found that I am in great hands and I can't wait for my first lesson! Update: I've been now going to Brett since September and I am seriously SO AMAZED of what I can do now. Every lessons is more exciting than the last because of the huge amount of growth I've made in this past few months. Brett has a way of explaining things so well, I never thought I would be able to play guitar but he proved me wrong, very quickly. This is so worth the investment, I have a new love for playing guitar and music in general and I can't wait to see where I am just even in a few more months from now..! They just need to take the initiative to take advantage of it. The only criticism I have is that it's almost impossible for unambitious students to fail in on-level (not AP/IB) classes. It takes an active effort to get less than an A, especially in History.”
