She starts where you are at, whether a total beginner, or like myself, havent danced for over 3yrs. Her studio is new, contemporary. With temporary covvid rules 2021, you need to have a partner & dances with limited people. Cant wait to covvid restrictions end. Suggestion- get regular DANCE SHOES - makes all the difference in the world!”

“My daughter has been enrolled at Burke since 1st grade. The first week was very hard to say the least!! Her two front teeth were knock completely loose by a 5th grade boy who punched her on the bus. Furious I went up to the bus barn that night and was VERY impressed! The child was expelled from the bus the remainder of the year. The following morning I brought the incident to the attention of Dr. Camp the principal. The child was not 11 yet so we were unable to file charges against him, he was suspended from school. I have full faith in the administration at Burke! They have a 0 tolerance policy they stick to. My child has thrived there and has been in the accelerated program every year. This year she will be able to take part in their Compus program!! Great school, amazing administration!! The children just need better rearing at home! You can't expect them to make bruised fruit shiny and new again they can only patch what has already been broken!!! STOP BLAMING THE SCHOOLS FOR POOR PARENTING!!!”

“Let me just say that first off this school is not for everyone. It demands hard work from students and if you have not previously attended a charter school you might find the rules to be much more strict and that the teachers require your best effort. On that note I have attended ALA for 4 years now and find it to be the best school I have ever attended. You will find a very clean campus where students are challenged every day to be there best. The language is clean and I have never been confronted with any drugs or alcohol of any sort. There are of course people who do those kinds of activities during their own time but it is not tolerated on campus. Furthermore, there is a strict student dress code that can be frustrating at times. ALA is not like any other school out there. Teachers have always given up their free time and most students will agree that teachers want you to succeed.”

Our daughter is growing and maturing and we are rebuilding our relationship. They also have an incredible support for parents so we do not feel like we are doing this alone. One of the things I love most about this program is that each staff member and the therapists are strong Christians and they pray for the girls and their families constantly.”
