“The schools isn’t as bad as many reviews say it is. Nonetheless, it isn’t great. 4 main feeder schools go into Sunnyvale middle. Cherry chase, Cumberland, Ellis, and Vargas. Ellis and Vargas are not the nicest schools and that has a profound effect on the general ambiance. That being said, most of the kids from cherry chase and Cumberland are good enough to make up for it. There are bad kids, and there are good kids. There are a small number of bad kids who feel as if it is their obligation to screw up the school. These select few get into fights, vandalize, and skip. They have a no tolerance policy for fighting but they don’t do much for the other 2. The teachers are mixed as well. I’d say the majority of them are good teachers (If you get Ms. Mckell, fear for your life). Overall, I enjoyed my time there.”

“I've been taking guitar lessons here with Joel since Dec. of 2018. Having already been playing for some 25 years (and being self-taught), I wanted to learn the correct way to play, from someone who knew what they were doing. I also wanted to learn to play lead guitar a bit. Joel has more than exceeded my expectations. We've covered lead guitar, rhythm, theory, songwriting, and so much more, and in just about every genre. Joel is not only a guitar virtuoso, but a really great instructor as well. I look forward to going to my lessons every week, as I know it will always be laid back, fun, informative, and definitely never intimidating experience. Want results? My playing has dramatically improved. I was stuck in rut playing the same same old thing for at least a decade. Within months I was playing stuff I never dreamed could come out of my guitar.
