“I am responding to the Google review posted 2 weeks ago by a previous customer and will state the facts of what occurred and how it was handled. The incident that Deanna Reed reports took place in June 2018, 2 years and 4 months ago. On June 24th, 2018, the customer called the storage office to report that her unit had been broken into. The manager met the customer at the storage unit an hour after her call. Customer reported that the lock on the unit was locked when she arrived, additionally, there was no damage to the lock, unit door or any other storage units. The customer reported that a number of things were gone from the unit. She stated it had been at least 2 months since she had been to the unit, but was not sure when she had been there last. Stillwater Advance Self Storage does have surveillance cameras which cover the unit rented by this customer. Our system consultant reviewed the video available and found no suspicious activity, which was reported to the customer and sheriff’s deputy handling the report. The manager and owner of Stillwater Advance Self Storage strive to provide good customer service to our renters. To say that the owner was not helpful is inaccurate, as he did all that was possible given the circumstances. Manager, Stillwater Advance Self Storage”

“This is the only storage I could find that allows me to park a vehicle in a parking space on property. I like it they allow you to rent spaces but it is very pricy. Over $200 to rent a parking space. My apartment I'm on a wait list to get a spot. Until I get it I'm having to use the storage. It does seem like the place doesn't want people to rent the spaces long term. They seem to stop after 6 months. Then you have to make a new contract. With it being uncertain on renting a parking spot long term I could only give a 4 star review.”

“I needed two guys to load up a 16 ft. rental truck for my move from Denver to Austin. With all I had to worry about, I was super stressed about how the loading would go. Robert and Chris did awesome, efficient, and professional work. I've moved three times in the last two years. They secured my stuff the best and saved the most space. I had wrapped up a few things pretty clumsily, but they stepped in and did a better job. They were super careful with the things I was worried about, including a glass table and a $3500 road bike. When I rolled down the truck door to start my drive, I was confident everything would be all right. Thanks Robert and Chris for the hassle-free move!”
