Due to my father’s health, we were not able to have a funeral for my stepmother. When Dad passed, we decided to conduct a dual service. She provided insight, made my ideas a reality, and was there for me every step of the way. We could not have gotten though it all without her. Her help allowed us to celebrate a bittersweet first Christmas without my parents. In addition, in the final week before the service she was able to make the changes I requested.
