“Yesterday my cat, Rio, had his first visit at West Lincoln Animal Hospital. He was due for some vaccines and a checkup. We were greeted by Karen, who was amazing. Rio is a two year old bengal cat that has never enjoyed going to the clinic. She was very patient, calm, and gentle with him despite Rio trying to swat, scratch, bite her. Dr. Hardy was quick to enter the room after she could hear a very unhappy kitty. She promptly started her exam, checking his ears, eyes, and feeling around his body for any lumps or bumps. She explained everything she was going to do and worked quickly to minimize Rio's stress. Karen and Dr. Hardy were so kind, they could definitely see that I was a bit uncomfortable as this was my first time actually being in the clinic with Rio and I had never seen him behave this way. They reassured me that some cats really don't like going to the vets and that his behaviour was nothing they couldn't handle. They finished up the exam and quickly gave him his vaccines. They then put him back into his carrier as he was more comfortable in there. Dr. Hardy then spent the time discussing topical solutions for flea, tick, heartworm and parasite control. She explained the difference between the two medications the clinic uses and recommended one based on Rio's lifestyle of supervised backyard time, hikes, and his career as my own professional fly catcher. Dr. Hardy also suggested if Rio needs to come in for another visit in the future, to call the office ahead of time to pick up a mild sedative to give him before his visit, just to make his experience a little less stressful. I can't recommend West Lincoln Animal Hospital enough, the team was caring and and very passionate about their work. I was also very pleased with the affordable pricing. Dr. Mark Moynagh is very knowledgeable, a great listener, and takes the time to understand the situation and discussion the options with you. Unlike most other vets I've used, I never once felt "rushed" during a visit with Dr. Moynagh at Westgate. The staff are wonderful. Polite, friendly, professional, responsive, accurate. The office is clean and comfortable, and conveniently located. We even found the prices to be very reasonable. I couldn't ask for anything more than the great care for our dog that we've received from Westgate Veterinary Hospital.”

“I switched to Banks Veterinary Clinic after my son and his wife (with two dogs and three cats) constantly raved about their practice. For more than a year they provided loving and compassionate care for my beloved senior dog, Isabel right to the end. I recently rescued a large doodle mix and they got her right in and even though she was in terrible shape and smelled to high heavens they made sure she was in good shape and gave her wonderful care! “I love the affordability of this vet care under the thrive program. They always text to follow up after appointments to see how the dog is doing. They respond to text if you have any questions. I just had my female eight-month-old dog spayed and it was very affordable, compassionate, and easy. The dog is doing great and was sent home with anti-inflammatory drugs to help with swelling or pain..She is eating, Drinking, and going potty. It feels like personal service to me because of the good follow up. I highly recommend it”

“My guinea pig unfortunately had a medical emergency and so my boyfriend and I called this vet center in a panic and the staff member who spoke to us showed her genuine care for our situation and strongly advised us to visit the vet center to see if Dr. Wolf could help in some way. When arriving at the vet center, my guinea pig seemed like he unfortunately already passed away but Dr. Wolf still stopped what he was doing to do an urgent examination on him to see if there was anything he could do to help. After it was made known that my guinea pig’s time had come, Dr. Wolf and the staff there respectfully wrapped him, gave their condolences, and asked us if we had any questions that they could answer for us. In addition to all of this, they did not charge us for the examination regardless of the circumstance. The staff members here are very kind and considerate despite some of the reviews. “I have been taking my cats here for several years now and have always been impressed with the staff and services. Everyone, from the front desk to the veterinarians, are kind and professional - and it is clear they really care about their patients. My oldest cat, Cathy, had been developing old lady ailments at the age of 16 for the last year or so. Earlier this month, we were advised she likely had cancer and were advised of our options. We took her home to keep her comfortable and enjoy what were likely our last days with her. A week later, her health had taken a significant turn and we scheduled a quality of life assessment. We knew coming in that Cathy would be crossing the rainbow bridge that day and I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion my husband and I (and Cathy!) received during our appointment. It is such a difficult thing to lose a member of your family this way and I felt supported every step of the way to make the best decision for Cathy. She was handled with dignity and made to feel as comfortable as possible. In the end, I feel confident we gave Cathy the best healthcare and chance for life we could in her final years and we absolutely could not have done that without the staff here at Stow Kent Animal Hospital. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who asks and am glad my other cat Ghostie will continue to have such dedicated care until he joins Cathy in the big cat tree in the sky.”

“I do TNR and have had almost 100 cats fixed here since they opened. I have also had my personal kitties fixed here. I have had no issues and the staff is wonderful. They have helped me with additional medical services that my ferals/strays have needed and charge the bare minimum. I honestly don't know how they do it with such low prices or how I could have helped so many without them. I drive an hour there and back just to use them because they are that wonderful. “I recently moved to the area from San Diego. At the time of Max’s illness (turned out to be pancreatitis), I had only been in the area for 2 days. He was not eating, vomiting bile, and shaking. I didn’t expect anyone other than an emergency clinic to get to him on such short notice, but they did, and he has made a full recovery. Not only did they work him into their busy schedule, but everyone on their staff were extremely helpful. As someone on active duty, I’ve been to multiple clinics across the country with my now senior dogs Ellie and Max, so I have a large sample size of various clinics. These guys are hand’s down the best I’ve encountered. Now I just need to get my other dog Ellie in for her first regular visit. Thank you for helping my best friend out.”
