She quickly put me at ease which in turn relaxed my pets impressed me with her high degree of professionalism as she diagnosed while explaining next steps. I highly recommend Dr. Christiansen and don't foresee putting my pets through the stresses of traveling to the vet thanks to her.”

“Nothing is perfect but this leans closer to a 5 than a 4. I went in around 9pm a few weeks ago with my male bullmastiff because he was having trouble breathing and wasn't walking well. They took him to the back and did some sonagraphy and found blood around his heart, it was bad but after talking to the doctor I made the decision to take him home and hope he made it to the vet appointment I had scheduled for the next day. At about 3:30am he work me up in clear distress and was struggling to breathe again. I took him in as quick as I could and the vet on duty was very respectful with what she was saying and very clear. I made the decision to put him down and we quickly filled out the paperwork and they brought him to me. They asked if I wanted more time, of course I did, but he was suffering and it was time. They were again respectful of me and my pain and comforted me until it was time to go. Since I have received sympathy cards that were personalized and hand written from both of the doctors I saw that night. In the worst of times, it was the best experience it could be. The question also comes to cost, I feel like the cost was very reasonable given it was an emergency and his condition. I would absolutely recommend this emergency vet without a doubt.”

“I take all of my 8 dogs there. They're highly trained working dogs so I only use the best. Dr Robinson is great. He understands I prefer a conservative approach which saves me $, unless there is any risk to my dog then then I'll do whatever it takes. Some of my dogs were saved from euthanasia and can be fearful with strangers but they all love Dr Robinson bc he respects their boundaries.”

“I drive 30 minutes for this vet. I took my dog to multiple places for a year to figure out why she was itching and pulling her fur out. 4 gave me the run-around. I was told it would take hundreds of dollars. Then I was referred to Monrovia equine. They told me it was allergies. Then the specific shot she gets is $9. I could see results instantly almost. She doesn't chew and itch for a few months.”

The cool thing is we have two other dogs and this place makes them all feel comfortable. Happy Tails has been so accommodating and very affordable compared to our previous place.
